Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

Headed down on Sunday for a week stay at POP. Let me know if you have questions or anything while I'm there. Since it's for a wedding, I'll be running around but I will try to get back to answer questions.
One very random ask, maybe someone else knows: is there spray sunscreen in the shop, and how much $? :)

I'll get over there today or tomorrow and get a price.
Appreciate that! I figure between the three of us we can go through quite a bit of one spray sunscreen in a week and we're trying to stick to one checked bag so unless it's crazily inflated it's probably still fine.

I am glad you asked too! We are only doing carryon luggage and I KNOW we will need more then what we can fit.

How is the swimming right now? I know the water is heated but we were there last May, just a couple of weeks later than we are going this time, and it was very chilly to swim. We are getting our last trip in with our annual pass. We are coming down this weekend and staying a couple of weeks. There was a day or two that it wasn’t terrible but pretty chilly for the most part. It was partly because it was windy. If you are there now, how is the temperature/wind for swimming? Thanks!

How's the weather this week? Are you needing a sweatshirt or jacket at all?
The weather was great! I never needed a sweatshirt or jacket. My friend usually started the morning in a long sleeve shirt but went down to her t-shirt by 11 or so. It felt unusually hot in Magic Kingdom on Wednesday but otherwise - just beautiful weather. Breezy and no humidity.

Laying by the pool was glorious. The water felt cold to me. I went to the pool on Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesday I was able to get in the water for about 10 minutes before I was just too cold. Saturday I don't even think I got all the way in. But again, it was great to just lay by the pool. Not too hot in the sun and even in the shade, it was lovely.

I was looking at the mobile order for the food court and I'm wondering if there are choices available in person that aren't in the app? There's no pasta and no salads listed, which seem to be at all the other values. Is this right?

We had greek salads with chicken last week from the grab and go area that were quite tasty and fresh! There was also pasta at one of the windows, but I didn't inspect much closer.

It's weird because there is actually a lot of 'grab and go' stuff on the mobile order, but not the salads?

Other things that are missing from mobile order: the entire window that is the choose your own meal, off the top of my head: garlic shrimp, rotisserie chicken, sesame chicken, beef of some sort, impossible meatloaf where you can choose the two sides.

Hello! First want to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread, we've found answers to all of our questions as we prepare for our upcoming trip 🤗 Especially @scrappinginontario for the very detailed info found on the first page of this thread!!

Two questions:
Drink machines are self-serve. Note: Pop Century does not have Coke Freestyle machines; they are traditional fountain machines. Current drinks available are:
  • Coke
  • Diet Coke
  • Sprite
  • Coke Zero
  • Fanta
  • Vitamin Water
  • Lemonade
  • Iced Tea
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Hot Chocolate
Can anyone who has stayed recently confirm Lemonade is still available for refillable mugs? It's a family member's favorite drink :drinking:

Microwave oven is available in Food Court
Please note: Toasters or microwaves cannot be brought with you and used in individual rooms due to fire restrictions.
Is the food court microwave accessible before the 7am opening? I'm guessing no based on other comments I read in the thread but wanted to ask. Not having one in the room it would be good to have access to one before the 7:30am early entries!

Not sure about the lemonade. Hopefully someone else can chime in about this.

You are correct that the microwaves are not accessible prior to Pop dining opening at 7AM. We recently heard that a limited number of microwaves may be available for a guest room, upon request. I haven’t asked personally but one or two here had experience requesting one for their room.
