I can see which restaurants you can use this card from the list above...but can you use this card with character meals?
Thanks :earsgirl:

My understanding is that you can use them at Character meals. Both at CRT and The Crystal Palace.

Either I read too fast or not well enough. I checked the Deb Willis link. Am confused. Does the $75 rate apply to someone who is neither a Florida resident nor an Annual Passholder? Don't live in Fla. although I wish i did. And am not an annual passholder because it simply isn't sensible for us. But we are going to VWL in August and would certainly be interested in the DDE for us during that time.

In other words am I eligible?

Thanks!

Residents of any state are eligible if they are AP holders. AP holders pay $50 for DDE. I believe the $75 rate is for Florida residents who are not AP holders. No one else can purchase DDE, so from the information you have provided it looks like you are not eligible.

Thanks Long Island. Am from Long Island too. I guess my reading comprehension was right.

This is also strange, because this is exactly how it's worded on the employee website. No where does it say Florida residents. It just says General membership, AP special membership and renewal membership. I'm sure Deb gets alot of her info from a source from the employee site. I check every now and then to see if this information has been changed. DDE needs to define the actual language to include or exclude certain areas. :confused3

The list as extensive as it is has one glaring omision; places to get a quick meal. That is what I loved about the Quick and Casual meal vouchers. Walk up counters are where we eat at least lunch, but most of the places the DDE is good for are sit down. We are not quite a sit down family. I guess that comes from being always on the go to an ice rink here and there. ;)

I am still debating whether it's worth the $50 for this card since I really don't see us frequenting those places all that much.
