"Discover Atlantis" sold out?

So we are going on the Dream for the 7th time at the end of July and thought we might do the Disvover Atlantis tour as we hadn't done it in awhile. We just booked the cruise and when I went in to make shore excursion reservations, to my great surprise, the Discover Atlantis tour is said to be sold out. I emailed DCL because I have NEVER seen this tour sell out (in fact, the shore excursion desk/Personal Navigator always mentions this as a "last minute" booking option) asking if it was, in fact, sold out or not bring offered for some reason. I received a fairly generic email stating to keep checking for availability since cancelations occur. I don't want to keep checking online if the tour isnt going to be offered. Has anyone seen this tour marked as sold out when they went to make reservations?

Have you considered going to Atlantis on your own? Anything that Disney sells as part of their tour package you can book on your own.

Umm, last I heard, you can no longer purchase tickets to explore the aquariums and such from Atlantis directly.

Unless the resort is completely packed, I think they would sell you a day pass, their page only states passes are limited, not that they don't sell them.
