I'm going to aim low once again, and try for 10 no-buy days. I don't count my mortgage payments, house/auto insurance, electric/water/hydro bills.
December 1 - Paid for lunch for a co-worker and myself ($20)
December 2 - Had the day off work, so ran some errands. $25 at the bakery, $30 on gas for my car
December 3 - $230 on groceries, went to Disney on Ice - $25 on snacks
December 4 - $75 at a fundraiser for an Animal Rescue Group
December 5 - Worked from home, so ate leftovers from the fridge for lunch No buy (1/10)
December 6 - A co-worker bought my lunch, No buy (2/10)
December 7 - Bought pizza for lunch for my department at work, $48
December 8 - No buy (3/10)
December 9 - A different co-worker's turn to buy lunch, No buy (4/10)
December 10 - Went to a concert, but tickets were free (it was a "win-your-way-in" contest held by the radio station my boyfriend works at). Did buy a $10 drink though.
December 11 - Went to an NHL game, but tickets were purchased in September - I'm not counting those. I did save some money by not eating at the arena, but we did stop at Wendy's on the way home, $13.
December 12 - Actually brought a lunch from home, no buy (5/10)
December 13 - Co-worker paid for my lunch, No buy (6/10)
December 14 - I'm going to call it now, today will be no buy. We're going out for lunch, but it's paid for by the company I work for and our neighbours invited us over for supper.
