Back on my second midnight shift.
Which totally sucks since I hate doing one.
Second week of this and hopefully that'll be it for double midnights for a while.
In other news. My laptop, which I use pretty much exclusively for photography, is giving up the ghost.
It takes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to boot up.
The latter means several crashes, windows recovery, etc.
So it's off to Dell to order a new one.
We get a small (very small) discount through my work. Clicked the link. Found the one I want... but a better one is on sale ($500 off) for the same price. Cool! And... there's an online coupon for an additional $150 off. Cooler! But I can't apply the coupon. Crap. Click the "chat now" link and talk with someone from Dell. Takes forever. Eventually he gives me a quote... which is higher than originally seen. He immediately types to ignore that. Several minutes later, he quotes me the price without the company discount or the coupon discount. I tell him what the subtotal, total and total with tax should be. Several more minutes go by.
After two hours... TWO HOURS!! of being online, he finally gives me a price that's.... $50 less than the one I gave him. Um... yes I'll take it!
Just too bad it had to be such a process.

Anyone know the difference between a 15 vs 18 guage tennis string?
