Get yourself a CVS card first. Use it whenever you go to CVS for all your purchases. If you start next week, you could get free toothpaste or dental rinse and your initial investment would only be $3.50 or $7.00 oop (out of pocket) depending on if you buy one or two. On the bottom of your receipt you will find Extra Care Bucks printed for buying the toothpaste or rinse. It will permit you to apply the $3.50 or $7.00 towards your next purchase. If there's anything else in the ad that is on sale that you need, you could spend the extra bucks on a second transaction which may or may not give you more extra care bucks depending on what you buy. However, you can save them for future week's sales as they don't expire for one month. Flaky also lists when there's coupons you can use on the purchase. For example, if you have yesterday's P&G insert, there's a coupon for Crest toothpaste or rinse which you can apply to the purchase mentioned above to make it a moneymaker (mm). You would pay less than $3.50 or $7.00 because the coupon's value comes off what you pay OOP. WELCOME to the wonderful world of CVSing. You will eventually have a stockpile of all sorts of things that you got for free or almost free. In my stockpile I have Pepsi and Coke, Powerade, Pringles, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, styling products, room fresheners, candles, dish detergent, bar soap, liquid hand soap, deodorant, razors, shaving gel, body wash, and the list just goes on and on! It becomes addicting and the people who post here are very friendly and helpful so if you ever have any more questions, just ask away!

Yes, the ECB deals will be listed in the ad each week. Flaky does a great job of compiling them for us!

The ECB's that you earn back can be used just like cash for just about anything. The items off the top of my head they cannot be used for are prescriptions, gift cards, cigarettes/tobacco products, and stamps.
