At least now DS is talking about the cruise with me. But he thinks the cruise is less than Disney. He said sure its a part of it but it's not Disney.
I cant wait to get him onboard the ship!

But I have to rely on the wonderful people who post here... and it must be great!!! I am hoping that my little one is sooooo excited while we are there!

It's gonna be GREAT!

No, the Cruise is not WDW but it certainly has the "Magic" of Disney! My DD's ages 10 and 14 both found it absolutely the best vacation ever, and cannot wait for a 7 day (we were on the 3 day Wonder). My DS age 17, can't wait to go as an "adult"
though he had a blast as a teen. None of them, except for the 10 year old, were involved in the organized club activities, but found PLENTY to do! My DH, who was sceptical because he just loves WDW and didn't see how this could be "fun", is now going on the 7 day Sept. 2003 with me and NO kids! Your son and you will have a GREAT time. Sit back and enjoy and don't worry. You will be soo sad when it's done!

What exactly are his concerns? Does he like WDW? Does he like cruises? Has he been on a cruise? Just wondering where his apprehensions are.

My hubby was skeptical before our first cruise in '99. None of us had ever taken a cruise before. We started with a 3-day in case we didn't like it. It was the best vacation yet. We've since taken two 7-day cruises and our 3rd one is next week. He loves it as much as our two kids do. Last year I was planning our big get away and assumed that everyone wouldn't want to cruise again and would want to go to WDW. I made the reservation and everyone (kids and hubby) questioned me why in the world we weren't doing the cruise again. Since the western wasn't available yet we did the eastern two years in a row.

The cruise has something for everyone. The couch potatoes can be happy or the on-the-go types can consume their day with activities. I think Disney has covered all the bases. If he's thinking it isn't Disney he's incorrect. In our opinion it's Disney at one of its best.
