What type of ID will I need to check in at the Contemporary to prove that I am a current DOD civilian employee?

If you are a retired DoD civilian your ID now says OFM.
What type of paperwork do you need to show that you are retired from DOD? We have a plaque that lists DOD. But that is the only thing that lists DOD. Do they know this?
