Booking multiple dvc rentals near eachother

Hi,

If you book through David’s vacations rentals, is it possible to book multiple DVC rentals are close to eachother?We are traveling with 3 families (a family of 5, 4 and 2). The price for 3 standard rooms would be way cheaper than a grand villa but would we know the proximity of the rooms to each other before booking? Thanks!

When the reservation is made (or anytime thereafter) have the DVC owner request to be near the other rooms. You'll need the reservation info from the other families when you do this.

So long as you get the request in with the reservation - really anytime before you get there - it shouldn’t be a problem.

Just FYI, the family of 5 would need a 1 bedroom unit to accommodate everyone. (Unless one of the 5 is an infant)

Rooms are assigned a few days before check in, so be sure to call (about a week in advance of your stay) to request that your rooms are close to each other. You can also request tower and floor (depending on what type of view you've booked). The resort isn't huge, so if you're in the same tower you won't be too far from each other!

Rooms near each other would only be a request - its not something that is guaranteed or that you would be able to find out ahead of your arrival. Assigning DVC rooms near each other can be tricky because there are only so many room configurations on each floor (studio, 1BR, 2BR lockoff/dedicated, etc).

That said, your best option is to make sure the request and reservation information is noted on each reservation. As PP mentions, the resort isn't huge, so its really not an issue if you end up on a different floor or down the hall from each other.
