Where do you get your favorite Cinnamon Rolls / Sticky buns?

I used to like the ones at the Main street bakery. I find that the ones at Gaston's are not as good.

I like the Big- as -Your -Head Cinnamon rolls at AK but I am ready to branch out!

Boma's sticky buns at their brunch. Gooey and full of pecans. That whole meal is amazing.

The Boardwalk Bakery has some wonderful cinnamon sticky buns!

We are also in the "missing our MS Bakery cinnamon rolls and wondering why WDW hates us so much as to have taken them away" camp, but were indeed able to find very good ones at Boardwalk Bakery last week. They are pretty large and have what appeared to be (in sight and taste) a very generous slathering of a cream cheese-based frosting across the top. It almost had a croissant-like texture to the roll itself (which was a good thing).

If we're in the MK, we still tend to find our way to Gaston's to have the current alternative to the MS Bakery. We've been pretty happy with them and last week, they were enormous, so even if it lacks just a touch of the same quality, they make up for it in quantity!

On the flip side, a few days ago, we also got what appeared to be nice big cinnamon roll at The Mara at AKL, but were pretty disappointed in it....very little frosting...just a scant drizzle of something white, but not enough to matter.

I would agree with the comment on Boma -- theirs are quite good -- but if I'm paying for a buffet, a cinnamon roll/sticky bun is not usually at the top of my priority list.

I really like the little ones they've got at most of the breakfast buffets! Crystal Palace to be specific! I also really like the ones over at Starring Rolls, all their treats are delicious!!

What is it you don't like about the one at Gaston's? We loved Main Streets and were considering Gaston's as an option our next trip....

For me (not OP), they are still very good (and huge), but they just seem to magically appear on a plate and you get what you get. At MSB, you could watch them pull it off the baking tray and then scoop up all that extra icing and basically pour it all over the roll (if that was your thing...and it was for me!). There was just something a bit more personal about it, and it always seemed to be nice and warm.

MSB was the 'best' for cinnamon rolls, but we find the ones at Gastons to be a close second. We now get them every trip, but it's the ambiance at the MSB that dh & I miss so much!

Can you get the ones from Gastons in a to-go container? We LOVE to take ours for a late night snack or next day breakfast :thumbsup2

Yes we got them to go!! They put them in those plastic containers with plastic attached lids.

I also miss those wonderful cinnamon rolls from MSB!! Glad I got to have one last one before they closed for refurb. I have heard that Gastons are a little different and they are a maple taste... not my thing.

1900 Park Fare has these yummy super gooey pecan sticky rolls on their buffet. Supposedly Gasparilla offers them as well. I don't know if they're the same as the ones at Boma, but I've heard Trails End offers something like them- yet not the same. Either way- these things are so freaking amazing...

When I had one at Gaston's in October, it had a nasty maple flavored frosting. Not even close to MSB. Has it changed?

The Wave also has the pecan sticky buns on their breakfast buffet. They were very good!

We also like the cinnamon roll at Kouzzina... beautifully presented and amazing taste. DH shared so everyone could taste how good it was!
