At what age can you rent a room at a Disney Resort? Is it 18, 21 or older?

My boys want to take a trip next year with their friends. My oldest will be 22 by the time they want to go. Can he rent the room or does it have to be someone older?

Thanks

18 even though Disney considers a 10 year old an adult, you have to be 18 to make a contract to rent a room. You do not need a credit card, I don't believe, I have not giving them a credit car, I have gone and bought gift cards from target with 5% back and continue to use them, paying it off monthly until we hit our 45 days. I believe you can do the same thing with a room only.

18 no credit card needeed.
This applies to Disney -- other chains may differ.
