Another view of Bonnet Creek

Just an odd question - If you do go to the timeshare presentation, do they offer you any kind of freebies? I sat through one at another resort several years ago and was given a free 3 night stay. Just curious. We are staying at Bonnet Creek and was wondering if it would be worth the presentation.

We are here now and were offered a 3 day/2 night stay at a Wyndham resort and a $100 American express gift card

When we went to a Wyndham sales presentation here in the Washington, DC area a few months ago, all we got was a totally worthless "certificate" for a 3 day, 2 night weekend at one of their properties. It turns out that this certificate must be applied for a reservation at least three months in advance at their 'motel' properties and requires a $50 fee per night which is refundable after your stay. Of course, you send the $100 fee in advance and there is no guarantee that your reservation will be available. You could only request one property on the form with one set of dates. If unavailable you would start all over. We did however, get $20 cash for travel expenses to the presentation.
