Meanwhile, back at the Contemporary . . .

The hotel staff wrapped Sonja's wrist in an Ace bandage and put it on ice. We gave her a glass of champagne and some pain reliever and made her sit on the bed until it was time to get her hair done. We kept bugging her to get it xray'd when she came home, but she never did. So, our best guess is that it might have been a little fracture or sprain.

It was during this time that I realized how AWESOME Brian's office manager (and my Honorary Bridesmaid) truly is! She took care of ALL of us! I remember at one time hearing a whirlwind of, "Amber, I need a drink", "Amber, I broke a nail", "Amber, can you sew my dress?" She took care of EVERYTHING . . . and even managed to slip down to the gift shop for a couple of these:

We had a GREAT time! It was just like I wanted . . . fun music . . . great friends . . . girl talk. We (especially Amber) had Patricia LeJeune cracking up! She was saying how she wanted to steal Amber to work with her. It was an absolute BLAST!

Misty (the photographer) and Karen Heyn (the wedding planner) were waiting for us when we arrived. Karen gave me my bouquet, and I was thrilled!
