June/July 2008, 7 days no dreams, although this was my honeymoon and that was a dream come true! We spoke with a dream CM for awhile but that is the only one I saw in the four trips I took, we are going again in December it would be great to win a dream fastpass over Christmas it would really come in handy with those crowds.

We were there from August 9 - 16, 2008 and didn't see anyone win anything. Are they still giving Dreams away?

I have to been four times since it started and havent won anything. But I can tell you, I wasnt even thinking about while I was there. I am so happy to be there and cant wait to see and do everything, that the Dream Squad is the last thing on my mind. It would be very special if we did win, but I am just as happy to be there and not win anything.

We were there Aug 8-15th & saw countless DreamEars and lanyards and one night right before Spectromagic we saw a couple sitting on the corner of Main Street get approached. I'm not sure what they won, but they were escorted from their spot....we were only a few feet away! Always a bridesmaid...

Nope, no dreams for us....and we go almost every two - three months since it has started and not one dream :guilty:

We received dream fastpasses at DHS. My DD and I got off Star Tours and they gave everyone on the ride a set. Since we were leaving soon, we found a nice couple that were just married and had just arrived at the park and gave them the fastpasses.

we were just there aug 19-24 and never even saw the Dream Squad. It was pouring rain most of the time so we really didn't look around too much at other people. Everyone had ponchos on, so I guess we could have been right next to them and not known it.

We did 'win' the red 'how long is the wait for this ride' necklace twice, though. We thought that was pretty cool. In case you dont know what it is - its basically a red laminated card on a lanyard that they give to random people when you get in line. Then you give it to the person who loads the ride & based on how long it takes you to get up there - they update the ride time that is on the sign in front of the attraction. It made us feel a little special.

Do you know what they'll do once the YOAMD is over? Is there another promotion scheduled?

We had one 9 day trip in 1/2008 and we each got mouse ears at DTD and the person I was with got the Pixie Dust Tink pins from a salesperson at MouseGears on our last day. Still hoping for the DVC prize LOL

Still hoping for the DVC prize LOL

What a great prize that would be! :lmao:
We have been twice in the last year for a total of 24 days. We have only seen the white vests once.
We did get several smaller "dreams" though. My DD3 made out the best- she was given 3 free stuffed toys, 4 free cookies, uncountable stickers, and a gigantic plastic souvenir cup of popcorn. (she's also the most adorable child anyone has ever seen! I don't just say that because she's mine lol) DD5 also got 4 free cookies and lots of stickers.
At the Indiana Jones Stunt Show we were seated in a kind of lousy area when a CM came over and tapped my husband on the shoulder. He just said to come with him. My husband was confused- we actually thought we had done something wrong without realizing it!. We followed the CM and when we got up to the top- he told us that our daughters were so cute and were dressed so beautifully that we deserved to sit in the VIP section. It was great- front row center seats!
I don't know if that was an official "dream" as much as our kids caught this CM's eye.
During Ev. EMH at MK last March, my husband and DD5 were riding SM and DD3 and I were hitting the rides in Fantasy Land with no lines. It was about 2 in the am! All of a sudden a bunch of characters came out to visit with us! There was no one else there!! The park was completely empty. My DD3 was skipping through FL holding hands with Chip and Dale. Donald Duck was chasing them- pretending to be trying to catch them! Pluto decided he wanted to take her home and took her hand and waved goodbye to me! Goofy danced with her and they ran all around the carousel together- still with Donald chasing them! Then we met two Imagineers who came out from under the castle. They came up to us and told DD that there was a surprise for her under Castle. One took her hand and led her over. She was so happy to find Mickey and Minnie waiting there for her! (see my profile photo) She had them all to herself. We played there with all 7 characters for quite a while. I'd say at least 15 mins. The Imagineer loved the custom made Mike Wizowsky outfit that my DD was wearing and invited us to be in the parade at HS the next day- but we were leaving the next day and had to catch a plane. It was disappointing.
BUT what a dream come true!! We may not have received an official dream- but this was a true example of Disney Magic!

Just adding to the results - 7 Days at WDW last week with no Dreams.

We did - however - get three "Magical Moments" - one from Dream CM's (not wearing the vests at the time), our son was selected to be the helper on the Safari - and he got a certificate and Honorary WDW Citizen Pin. Two others were from CM's - one at Cindy's (daughter chosen to be the honourary princess for the dinner, and the other at ASMu pool - our kids got to wake up the 3 Cabeleros and got to keep the Sombreros and mini maracas.

Maybe those three MM's equal at least one Dream - I'll admit I was hoping, but happy to have three great moments for our kids.
