If you're going to stay off site then you'll want a car. I've never been pleased with the bus services from the local hotels. Or you can Uber. Another perk of Embassy is the free breakfast and evening social gathering (free drinks and snacks).

We went before Christmas, so I didn't worry about gifts and there wasn't enough room in the POP rooms for even a small tree. The kids and I did decorate the window in or room. They loved it and it made it easy to locate our room at the end of the day.

I've stayed at both and prefer Homewood Suites. I like having a kitchen with the large fridge. I also like that it is quicker to get in and out of HS than DT. No waiting forever for an elevator and usually being able to park near an entrance, so no long walks from/to the car.

Both of my kids had to attend class online during our 7 day stay in December. The wifi was very dependable and neither had any issues connecting.

Going to be staying at Pop in a couple of weeks with my kids. We are going to decorate our window and want to use Xmas lights. How are people attaching the lights to the windows? Also, how far away is an outlet from the window? Need to make sure I bring a long enough extension cord.

With the opening of Flordia by the govenor, I believe more people will be willing to go to WDW. Crowds will increase, but will WDW increase cast members to help the flow of visitors? This is a strange time and will take some time to adjust. I hope they will adjust accordingly and I expect them...

I want to verify what I think I read in the OP. I am going tomorrow and plan to start at DL (which has EMH) and will have MaxPass. Do the first available FastPasses start at 8:00 am? I seem to remember them not starting until 9:00 am on previous visits.
