Collins Institute for Gifted Youngsters Regeneration

Amy: "Which is kinda odd to be honest. We're always having distress calls and emergencies and the occasional runaway or foster drop-off. It's been quiet so far this school year with that. Not that I mind not fearing for the life of someone I don't even know every other week, but it's still strange."
Rosie: "I'm kind of surprised too. It gets lonely in my room sometimes and I wish I had a roommate to talk to sometimes."

Amy: "We'll see what happens." She wanted to tell Rosie having a roommate was not all it was cracked up to be, but Carrie was still in the room and Amy held no doubt that Carrie would physically hurt her if she said anything negative (or at least she would try, Amy had a feeling Will would not take to kindly to Carrie trying to hurt her).

Rosie: "Yeah."

Carrie: She overheard them talking about roomates. "Ugh, if only Amy could switch rooms. Then I'd be the one to be alone and my life would be so much better," she thought.

OOC: If she wants to talk to one of the adults about switching, she can.

OOC: Who, Carrie or Amy?
OOC: Carrie. Though Rosie could ask about a roommate too. You've seen Amy so far, you know it would be uncharacteristic over her to ask for a change, she's so humble and stubborn it's almost as if she believes she doesn't deserve to be treated right.

Which is kinda funny because that's Rex, not Amy. Amy is just not assertive.

OOC: Ok.

Rosie: She thought of something. "Hey, who's your roomate again?"

Ski:She started eating "Well we're back to school. Soon it will be spring."she said to Nate.

Amy: "Carrie. Though in the summer, I'm by myself, because, you know, this is my house."
Rosie: "Oh yeah, she's the one that's got the fire powers and scares a lot of people. What's it like being her roomate?"

Carrie: She looked in her backpack for a lighter so she could scorch Rosie for saying she scares people. She forgot it in her room.

Ski:She started eating "Well we're back to school. Soon it will be spring."she said to Nate.
Nate: "Yeah, and then it'll be June and we'll be out of here for summer." He talked a little fast because he was a little nervous around her.

Ski:"Well tomorrow we will start classes."she wondered why he talked a bit faster.

Amy: Her face was red with an embarrassed blush, Amy knew she was one of the people Carrie scared. "I, uh, well, it's about, um, it's about what one might expect," she said, staring at her plate.

Will: He was suddenly paying attention to this conversation.

Carrie: Her attention went onto the discussion.

Rosie: "Oh, ok, well, I got an idea. Do you like being Carrie's roomate?" She kind of knew the answer already.
Ski:"So what are you looking forward to this year?"
Nate: "Just improving my powers, learning new stuff, you know." He was still talking a little fast and was sweating a little.

Ski:she laughed "Me too ,are you okay?,
Nate: "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. I'm totally fine. Are you fine? Because I know I'm fine. Um, I'm going to, uh, the bathroom now." He left to go the bathroom, even though he didn't have to go. He grabbed a couple of paper towels and wiped off some of the sweat on him. "Ugh, why am I so awkward!" he said to himself. "Why can't she make a move or something already?"

Amy: "Well, to be honest, I don't really get to have an opinion on these kinds of things. But, uh, it's usually easier to be by myself." A deflective answer, but it still basically told Rosie the truth.
