Has there been any public comments that Gwen avoided the wedding? maybe she had a conflict and just couldn't get there. In a large family, it's nearly impossible to get every, single, person together at the same time.

This was my first thought as well. I just don't think it's necessarily some huge deal that she wasn't there. It's a big family, things happen. I assume it was a conflict and nothing more.

No, because I don't like reality television and the idea of a goofy family trying to prove to me that polygamy works seems inane.

I was just curious what the attraction is because this thread has been going on for some time. Hate watching does make a certain amount of sense, I suppose.

You know - ya got me! I realised that I misspoke in my earlier post and edited it to polygamy not polyamory. I actually don't know any polygamists. Then again, I don't live in Utah and don't know any Mormons either. Go figure.

Is "Mary" someone from the show or someone here? And I assume that her little dabbling experiment didn't go well?

Meri is one of the wives in the show. Her relationship with Kody (the singular husband) accelerated south when she became involved in an online relationship that ended up being a catfish. What’s good for the gander was definitely not good for the goose.

Ahhhh, well that makes sense. I guess I just don't get the polygamy/polyamory thing. And clearly based on the show and my own experiences with friends, it's not all it's cracked up to be.

The wedding pictures in People magazine this week were lovely. It’s so nice that Christine will be able to experience being someone’s one and only! I wish the same for Janelle and Meri.

I heard Christine and David were in Disneyland this week. I also saw pics of Meri in Disneyland. I wonder if they ran into each other.

I enjoyed the conversations with the kids and Christine's friends this week. They felt authentic. Even Meri's self filmed videos felt genuine.

It had been so long that we’ve seen Robyn‘s older kids I’d forgotten about Breanna. It’s shocking how much both Breanna and Aurora look and act like Sobbyn Robyn.

Did anyone else notice that while at the kids house Christine said “ I asked Kody to BABYSIT Truly and he asked if she could spend the night…”. However “the next day” when she had her celebratory divorce dinner in the confessional part Kody says he heard Christine was in town so he called (the call she ignored while at dinner) to see if he could see Truly.

so kody is taking more heat-the day after christine's wedding he officialy disolved the Brown Family Entertainment llc that previously listed himself and all the wives. it was the mechanism the households pooled all their income and earnings into in order to mutually support each other. the heat is'nt so much about the end of the one llc but rather the naming of a new one (created last year when he was supposedly trying to reconcile/stay close to ALL his kids)-

Dabsark stands for Dayton, Aurora, Breanna, Ariella, Solomon, Robyn, and Kody (so not only are all the other women absent from the paperwork-none of his other children are associated with the name).

I think that was just the natural progression after wives started leaving and they needed to start getting paid separately. A real knife to the kidneys though that he named it with the letters from 5 of his 18 kids.

The interesting part about the founding of DABSARK is that apparently it was created 10 days after that birthday date with Janelle featured on last week's show. My theory is that she smiled and knifed him in the other kidney at dinner that night with the cameras off
