can you imagine if the waitstaff got to be in character? immmmmmm soooooo exciteddd

we went on the wish but the wish decor really never excited me. or my husband. it was fun don't get me wrong but we went in expecting to like fantasy more (it was only our second cruise) and that's definitely how we walked away.

this decor instantly is more my vibe (we are poly and akl people) and if they do HM restaurant I will lose my effing mind. HM is my all time favorite. I have so much HM stuff

There’s already a small tie-in in the Magic’a kids club (not sure about the others) so an expanded tie-in would be great.

Based on the timeline they showed at the expo, I’d assume second half of 2024.

Hoping one of the restaurants is Polynesian themed/Moana.

I definitely expect some Moana theming but I think Disney will be careful to avoid anything that could be seen as cultural appropriation (I’m talking Tiki Room / Poly hotel style theming) since it will be sailing in the part of the world impacted by that. Any cultural nods will be closer to the Aulani “authentic” feel rather than anything too cartoony. Or they may just avoid it altogether (apart from Moana, which is not bordering on that risky territory).

I thought I saw October 2024 as a projected sail date.

I’m so much more excited about the Treasure than the Wish. The decor appeals to me more as does the overall adventure theme. Princesses and a castle on the sea never really excited me.
