Any updates today on lines for Figment buckets?
The problem is it is 2 per person. Mom, dad, and 2 kids is 8 buckets.
There was someone who bought and giving out to kids at the park. That is true Disney Magic!
I understand, and agree with, the issue with plastics, and would hope these popcorn buckets are recyclable. I prefer to get my Disney popcorn, when I eat it, in the paper box.
Legally, no. A seller has a right to resell any item they lawfully purchased even if it's copyrighted.
Shortage of CM. Disney makes more$$$ on the buckets.Down to 1.5 hours. I’m absolutely shocked they didn’t just sell the bucket elsewhere. Still can’t get my darn grilled cheese.
Disney is understaffed. Disney is making more money selling popcorn buckets then they would selling grilled cheeseDown to 1.5 hours. I’m absolutely shocked they didn’t just sell the bucket elsewhere. Still can’t get my darn grilled cheese.
What a lovely spirit! Maybe, Disney should stop selling them and just hand them out to kids around the parks! .
If the item was purchased using their Annual Pass Discount (I don't think this applies here) then the fine print of our agreement says they can terminate out AP because that is not allowed. So yes, they legally can IF the discount was used.
Quite a few got terminated when there was a crackdown in CA, and the same should be happening in FL when they hogged up all the Splash Mountain and 50th Merchandise.

Why wait on line when you can just sketch it on a notepad and sell the sketch?
Oh, okay. The fault is partly Disney's because they don't crack down on it in the first place. I'm seeing sellers on eBay listing the popcorn bucket for 99 cents. You are essentially selling it for less than you purchased it for. IMO, it's kind of a tempest in a teapot anyway.
I don't think you can use your AP discount on the popcorn bucket so the termination thing doesn't apply to that. But they posted a 2 per limit, which they could be enforcing by scanning their ticket. They already have the software and have used it before.
If you see it for 99 cents that must be a new auction, and it will climb up very quickly. Listing at 99 cents is normally a risk but I don't think so in this situation, and there used to be a financial benefit to listing that low with eBay, not sure anymore.
But it is very much Disney's fault, all their fault. Their "system" in place does not work because it really is no system, and they have a workable system they are not using.
Same could be said for any merchandise. The worst is those who spend the $100 on eBay to buy it. There is a sucker born every minute.I will never understand the obsession with popcorn buckets.
