Our trip from December 4th to 9th is our last trip to Orlando, and I was hoping to land a reservation to Space 220. My oldest is a space lover and this is something she really wants to see.

Anyway I was on at midnight trying to snag a reservation at the earliest time we could make reservations. Ugh booked up fully. I’ve been checking every waking hour since and no luck. Also set up a reservation finder through Touring Plans with no luck.

So am I SOL for this week? Should I keep trying? Would I be better off playing the lottery?

ugh so darn stressful......

The reservations start at 6am 60 days before your vacation.
I will tell you that 24-48 hours before your trip start checking regularly, people cancel all the time.
I have gotten Topolino's breakfast twice this way, one was 2 hours before the reservation.

My 60 day mark was 6am this morning, I didn't see Space 220 at all. I think the hype will start to let up and you will get lucky.

Just keep trying since you’ve quite a bit of time remaining.
You’re already using several tips such as checking early and setting up a TP reservation finder. The only other thing I can think is to check the December dining cancellation forum when it opens.
Happy hunting.

Res finder on TP may well come through for you. Stop torturing yourself, you can try a time or two every day but the every waking hour routine is gonna burn you out. Many days from now till December, pace yourself;)

I feel your pain. No luck when I tried to book at 60+. I signed up with TP and also another reservation site but no luck as of yet. Just keep checking everyday. We might try a walk up for the lounge.

Once you are on a wait list you can go and do other things. You don’t have to wait in line. Sorry if I am ‘teaching my grandmother to suck eggs’.

They are not doing a wait list for the lounge. Perhaps they were when it first opened? We lined up around noon last Monday as a party of 2 and waited about an hour. Cast members only came out to bring people in from the line once there was space available in the lounge. They weren't taking names or creating a wait list. In terms of wait times, YMMV based on how many people are lined up before you. OP, I would definitely sign up for a reservation finder or consider lining up as soon as you enter the park if you are willing to invest some time in waiting in line.

Agree with stalking as you might get lucky.
We also missed out, but have touringplans reservation finder looking as well. We have had good success with them in the past.
No luck so far, but we have another week and a half. Maybe we will get lucky.
Good luck.

We had lunch at Space 220 last week. It's nice. What I did see was a line for the lounge. I also seen that line completely change by the time we were finished with lunch. There are a lot of lounge tables. I would suggest going to the restaurant early, like 9-9:30 and just get in line. You should be able to grab a seat when it first opens. I think the view from the lounge area is actually better than the reservation seating. They are elevated so you will have a perfect view.

I have a reservation for December 4@1pm. I am actively searching for one on November 29th. If I get the 29th I will be more than happy to coordinate with you to drop the 4th

That would be awesome! I would have to add a park day, but at this point I’m willing too.

Should have been more specific in saying our EPCOT day is on December 5th.
