Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

It isn't just AP-holders. We have regular tickets and I'm still not able to get a reservation for our last park day (departure day) because it says we have maxed our reservations (I previously had a reservation for that day and cancelled it to change it, but now it won't let me make a new one. Not going to take a chance on cancelling all our other 5 days of reservations to retry.)

If we aren't able to get it, not the end of the world, but still kind of annoying because I don't feel "done" yet so keep feeling the need to check back every so often.


This same type of thing is happening to me.. has anyone talked to Disney IT about this ? It’s crazy when do we think this will be fixed by?

I’ve been on hold for 1 hr 50 minutes...about 5 minutes ago all the hold music stopped....??? I am not having a magical day

same, everything went silent. They must have cut it off. 1 hour and 45 min here. Grrrrr.

Not liking your situation at all, but we'll all get through this. Hopefully Disney ends up sending a survey to all of us, so we can let them know our thoughts on this. This is already a stressful situation, and the lack of preparation on the IT part is just inexcusable. I feel bad for all of us, bad for the poor CMs on the phone trying to make it better for us, but Disney should know IT really dropped the ball on this.
I think nearly as bad as the IT issues (which everyone predicted to some degree) is that we're stuck with no recourse - we can't get ahold of anyone to help.
 
AP, 29 park days over 3 DVC reservations, was only able to book 12 park reservations. 2 friends with resort reservations could book only 3. All waiting for the AP glitch. I don’t want 29 reservations but a few more than 12 would be good

Did somewhere in the songs some major white noise happen and scare you? It happened quite often to me over the last few days of my own phone calls!
 
So, in case anyone else is experiencing the same thing, you are not alone and we may commiserate in our misery together: we are unable to hold more than one park reservation at a time. We have two 7-night/8-day stays (August and Nov./Dec.). We have active APs (Gold DVC) but also have 7-day tickets on our account from our formerly-Free Dining (Bounceback) package. Once we book one park day, every other day of either stay says no availability. We tried cancelling, working backwards, frontwards, diagonally, 4th-dimensionally - you name it. We can only hold one park reservation. We did see on a Facebook group that someone is having the same problem and was told it was an IT issue and they're working on it (for whatever that's worth). If anyone else is running into this, you are not alone.
Exactly my issue - I have both an AP and 7 day PH tickets from a previous canceled stay in May -- and also 2 day tickets to book the free dining recovery. I can only book 1 park day. I really only want 3 more park days. It is beyond frustrating. Also, my resort is closed for the dates, so needed to change my reservation. I would have needed to pay the difference to another room, but since it is a solo trip booked the smallest room at the Riveria Resort - saved about 700 dollars, now if I could only get three more park days or even one to DAK. Good luck everyone!

We have 6 people. 3 have APs that would have been expired but got extended, 1 has a platinum AP voucher, and all 6 have 7 day PHs from the free dinng offer after our April reservation was cancelled. So we clearly all ahve tickets, most have 2 tickets.

But here is my question - what am I supposed to do???? I have tried to call 3 different IT numbers and have only gotten busy signals, told they aren't accepting calls, or simply just nothing like the call won't go through. I tried to chat and never got anyone to chat - plus I figure they won't be able to actually do anything anyway on chat. It is really upsetting sitting here watching people book, knowing we should have been done over 12 hrs ago, and hoping we get t book before the days really are all booked up!

I'm serious - what am I supposed to do? I can't even express how upset/irritated I will be if we don't get reservations after being ready and qualified to get them 15 min before they opened this AM.
 
I've got one reservation in July that we booked through Disney, and another reservation in November where we rented DVC points. I started book the November trip first and completed it with no problems (4 park days) but now can only book 2 days in July. I'm AP but I'm also having trouble with the rest of my group that has military. 12 days worth of tickets, but will only let me book 8.


I am having the exact same issue.. have u solved this?
 
I just want to say that this thread has been more valuable than anything Disney offered today. I'm in the AP/DVC 2 reservation camp that could only book 3 days before I got shutout. One word: Trainwreck! Thanks to everyone with their valuable updates and good luck tomorrow for wherever we land!
 
Still on hold but messing around with the DVC site and it's super glitchy and not showing ability to modify right now. Hoping that's a sign they're working on something so I can book the rest of my park days!
 
I really don’t care about their excuses. They knew full well what they were getting themselves into today. I actually feel bad for a lot of TAs because not only is this stressful for them but people are going to cancel over this and they’ll lose commission and customers through ZERO fault of their own. This is totally unacceptable from any company let alone Disney. That people have literally wasted the entire day and probably a few more days to come to reserve theme parks. It’s absolutely insane. I did send an email to guest relations and wdw communications but it’s not really going to do anyone any good right now. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic and these are minor problems in the grand scheme of things but this should have been excitement for people but it turned into an all day event with no clear solution in sight

I have felt this same powerlessness all day. I’m completely panicked that it is all falling apart, and no one from Disney is throwing me a lifeline. I’m ready to call it a night. If it’s not fixed in the am then I’ll probably just cancel. A vacation should not be this stressful
 
We have APs and 4 Day PH tickets associated to our names. We were only able to book one day of tickets for our 14 day resort stay... waiting for glitch to resolve itself. Will try calling later to cancel and refund our PH.

I noticed that the total for my trip is no longer visible... maybe a sign they are working on something?
 
I have reservations at CCV 2/5-12 and AP pass active until 3/21 but only one day of the entire week had any park availability for me. Glitch or all already taken?
