March Park Hours Updates

Cue the speculation that they held off the last couple days of March due to Spring Break and still deciding between 7a or 8a openings for those busy weeks.

Thats a very optimistic way to look at it, my first thought was they’re extending as little as possible in the hopes that they dont have to open at 8. They’ll add hours, but tend to not claw back.

It would be an absolute tragedy if they opened too early (like in the fall) and the park was pleasant.

I really hope that it gets moved up to 8am, but 7am is just too early!

I'm perfectly satisfied with an 8am opening. Much earlier than that and it starts affecting the entire day from having to get kids up so early.

Just refreshed and got a Slinky Dog for 4 people on the day I wanted for 3pm. Still no sign of 8am FP+s unless I missed them all.

I was as well but really doubt they will change any of the others.

Someone on another thread said the additional hours when they updated some Feb hours took several days to load. Another person said the last round of updates had hours posted a few hours after they changed park hours. Bottom line is, we have no idea when they’ll post them.

No it usually takes hours, but sometimes days. And after last time's issues with FastPasses after the 8am updates, who knows.

No, not at all. Rarely even same day.

When they extended the hours for February it was a Thursday or Friday. The fastpasses dropped the following Wednesday morning. So you need to stalk all the time if there is something you are looking for.

I'm stalking the app for the 8:00 am FP+ to drop. Would anyone drop a SDD pass for 10:30 am to get a MMRR? MMRR is the only ride that I don't have a FP+ for that I really want, but I've never ridden SDD and think that SDD will likely have longer standby lines most of the time.

Just switched my Slinky to MFSR and had 2 different times to choose from...

Refreshing tip - using a laptop/desktop, set your zoom to 25%. That way you can just keep refreshing without having to scroll. The font is tiny, but you can see if one of the big 3 pops up.

If they did I completely missed the boat. The FP screen for DHS shows 8 AM as an hour to choose, but nothing is available that early.

I will say this. For anyone with a trip in March who made FPs at 60 days out, this is going to be the most bizarre FP selection process ever. First was the addition of MFSR and the tier changes, then the addition of MMRR, and then the park hours changes. When the dust settles I will probably have completely different attractions and times than I originally selected.
