I bought a sleeveless tshirt that says Galaxy's Edge 2019 when we were at the gift shop by Star Tours last year I'm forcing myself to wear that if I can find where I put it, lol! Our plans for our preview are the same as yours. We hope we can utilize our AP discount on a droid as rumored earlier....I think I need clarification on where exactly we can use either DVC or AP discounts in the land. I know Savi's is a "no" but I'd like to save a little where we can. Dh and I both want droids and I wanted an R2 unit but so does dh....I'll probably get a BB unit though so we can have one of each.


We have a 5-9 timeslot so I hope they are enforcing the times. Also, @yulilin3 Can you confirm/clarify if we will be able to use a Dvc or AP discount during the previews or even later for that matter? We are going for the last preview offered and staying one night, then coming back 4 days later for our planned trip. I joked with dh that this has been the most financially irresponsible thing we have ever done, lol!

I'll probably start looking on Amazon. I'd love to wear a Darth Maul tank top if I can find one. I'm kind of picky on how my shirts fit, though. It would be nice to get even a small discount on the droids with our APs, but Dh and I are okay paying the $100 since we're gonna share one. I saw that the BB units have trouble on hard surfaces. Is that the same with the R2 units as well? Are they all just better inside on carpet?

If I recall correctly, the Datapad wasn't activated during CM Previews for DL and was live right before the Media Previews (based on Twitter feed). Looking at my achievement timestamp, I activated the DL Datapad on 5/24 which was one week before the grand opening.

Remember they have alcoholic beverages at Docking Bay 7, Milk Stand and Ronto Racers. But I will check on standby

I would love to find out if they will be doing a standby for Oga’s Cantina. We have the Savi’s reservation, but aren’t planning on riding SR(I get motion sick). So if we could get into the Cantina to get some of the drinks(non-alcoholic for me, of course!) that would be fun!

Does anyone know, can you bring the drinks outside of the Cantina/outside of Galaxy’s Edge? My dad(non-AP holder) will be in HS during the preview but can’t go into SWGE for obvious reasons. He would love a drink from the Cantina. Could I bring it out to him at the end of our time slot? We are 5-9 on August 20th.

No, you cannot bring drinks out, not even non alcoholic drinks from Oga's On the dining thread there's a picture of the "code of conduct" But I think you could bring out some drinks from the other dining venues.

I didn't think it was possible to do both Oga's AND Savi's for the preview. I figure in order to give both of those groups the best experience possible they separated them on purpose. I chose Oga's because it seems to be so popular and I wanted a great and not too crowded experience. I hope to be able to do Savi's during our planned vacation later in the month.

The Oga’s return cards are pre-printed with the check-in time (Post #244 in this thread) but the party size was left blank as all CMs only had a +1.

Also, if you could find out whether you are allowed into your preview time early (I believe already reported that people could stay longer than their slot). I have a 5pm slot so curious.

Would love to know this because I'm 5-9pm as well. I heard a firsthand account from someone who was at the CM previews that they asked & were allowed into Oga's despite not snagging a res for it, so this gives me hope! I'm sure it's all about how busy it is in there & how things go in the week or so leading up to when I'll get there, but fingers crossed.
