Hurricane Irma?

I have changed this reservation before (added a room discount) and it worked. So i think I could!
I guess i could change it and then call at another time to ask about the gift cards.
I'd sure try. If you get an error or it tries to charge you a fee of some sort then just back out and call.

We have not been able to change our reservation over the Disney phone line (407) 939-1936. Constant recording ... "We're sorry all circuits are busy now. Please try your call again later." No online alternative to make changes, so we might be out of luck on our room fees. Hopefully we can at least use our tickets at a later date.

I hope it just goes east and out to sea... This is tampa news btw

I'm surprised Allegiant hasn't extended their travel alert dates past 9/9..

Super frustrating, huh? Have a trip planned for Night of Joy for my family, and trying to decide what to do is really hard with the lack of information Disney is putting out there. Family leaves tomorrow morning, but no word on cancellations of the concert, or anything in regards to Irma.

I'm more frustrated that my family aren't taking it so serious. We land tomorrow early afternoon and are shopping straight away but parents are like "business as usual" we're staying in a villa in kissemme so none of our dealings are with Disney.

Same here....really hoping we aren't out the $$

That would make me super nervous. At least there is a small piece of comfort knowing that if you're at Disney, they can help some. Prayers are with you and your family! Be smart, and safe! Still trying to decide with my family what the plan is.

Just waiting for two things...Disney to offer penalty-free cancellations and Delta to offer waivers from Orlando. We don't want to fly down on Friday to be there for a week in the middle of a hurricane. I am hopeful both can come by tonight or tomorrow morning so we can make the switches. We can eat the 200 dollar Disney cancellation costs (reservation starts Saturday, so we have until tomorrow to cancel for 200 bucks, after that we lost the whole thing). Don't want to have to eat the Delta costs!

57 minutes and counting on hold. Anyone know if Disney launches more dining reservations the closer it gets to a trip. For example last year we went in Oct and 4 days before our trip I noticed a lot of Be our guest and other popular restaurants open more reservation slots. So IF we switch dates I'm in hopes maybe the do, do this and I can salvage some dining we have planned for this trip.
Also wondering if I do switch if Disney will give us a discount or something we got delux dining at a discounted rate when free dining was released.
Still in hopes this shifts for the better for everyone!

Honestly there are times I'm surprised Allegiant issues any travel alerts. They are not my favorite airline

Yeah but people stock up on milk and bread even when they don't usually drink milk or eat bread. There's a primal instinct in us Southerner's genes that turn on when we hear Snow in the forecast and it makes us buy milk, even when we don't drink it. No one can explain it.

I live in PA. In the snowmageddon forecasts what goes is toilet paper and beer.

No, they do not issue or open additional ADR. However, people make changes to their plans all the time and those changes open up ADR. That happens without any weather related changes.

At least FL would be on the "clean" or "good" side so impact is minimized compared to if it were in the same position to the West instead.

Harvey was the exception to the west is best rule. I am beginning to think the rules are going out the window these days.
