SDFP: CHANGES COMING!! Beware the 7th of June?!

So they may actually have closed ticketless SDFP loophole for good. If the FP don't show up on MDE you won't be able to CPFP without having ticketed phantoms

I can see them on the web and change Party is option. Just can't see on the app.

Or they are just "keeping score" and building a case so that when the guest comes to GS (after how ever many attempts have been documented) with a locked MDE there will be no doubt what they were doing. This would also prevent locking an unsuspecting guest's MDE who just somehow made a mistake.

That's going to be critical. If you can't change party, it's game over for anyone who doesn't have extra ticketed profiles on their MDE (real or phantom). No possibility that you used bands from a separate MDE?

Did you look via the website?

If they don't show up, it is really weird that the kiosks still work for booking at all on ticketless bands. Unless Disney is playing a cat and mouse game with us.

Maybe the 'gamer mind' in me is too strong. It's just so typical in online games that players are trying to find exploits and the game companies try to come up with creative ways to catch the exploiters... Maybe it's just Disney IT being incompetent after all.

Companies do this when revenue is at stake. If DIS felt that preventing these SDFP and MDE issues would boost revenue in any meaningful way, then they most certainly do it.

As of right now, yes. That could change at any time, soon or late.

Asking because I truly don't understand much of the fastpass info other than the basics. But will this completely eliminate same day fast passes? I mean the ones you can make when your first 3 are used. Or is it just if you are trying to make them with a different band or whatever? Never even knew these issues were a thing until this forum. Nothing will change for guests who've used their first three FP and would like to book a 4th (and later a 5th, etc.).

You are referring to "day of" FP#4 and so on. That is addressed in the FP FAQ Sticky at the top of this forum.

Well thank you. I did read the FAQ but really didn't understand it I suppose. Probably because I would never even think to do anything like this. I was more so just curious as to whether or not this would affect people who stick to the way it should be done. Thank you for your response.

I've had problems doing a CPFP once the FP window started via the app multiple times in the past. It lead me to believe it could only be transferred before the window opened. But then I discover it was just the app acting up again when I tried it on the website

Does anyone know if you can transfer a fp once it is within the start time? I have overlapping times for NRJ and FoP, and I'm hoping to still be able to use both once we've tapped in at NRJ because of course now there aren't any other times available. TIA!

Probably a moot point at this point but I was able to just change the party from the fast passes I booked earlier via the app now that I have used all three of my pre-booked fast passes

Yes, you can. For some, the app works just fine. Others have reported issues doing it in the MDE app, but then they have confirmed it has worked on the mobile webpage.

Glad you mentioned this I was having issues while following along MDE app vs mobile webpage. I wasn't sure which one people were using.
