Amazing contract!!! Congrats :teeth:

I know, right? I actually submitted the offer without telling my husband, I mean, we'd been discussing buying a resale, and he knew I was looking for the perfect contract for us, but I spur of the moment made the offer, never in a million years thinking it would get accepted by the seller the next day. I thought the seller would say go fly a kite, or at the very most offer to split closing. I keep telling myself it was meant to be!

Update...
Glencoe---$106-$18336-160-BLT-Mar-0/16, 118/17, 160/18, 160/19- sent 2/17 passed 3/2

Heard from broker.... closing docs will arrive between March 10-28.... approx. closing April 13th:D

My SSR was taken today. Getting back in the horse and checking this deal out. Do you think it will get past Rofr? The deal we had taken was fully loaded with all point in 16/17/18. This is the new deal I put an offer in on.

Animal Kingdom
216 points $77 a point
176/16, 216/17, 216/18

Thoughts??
We passed ROFR on our AKL contract - $75/pp - 220pts full 17 and 18 with buyer paying 2017 MF. Good luck!!!

Why does it take so long to get closing docs? We heard that we passed ROFR on 2/23 and still haven't seen our closing docs. We were told we would get them between 3/10 and 3/25 - ugh! The waiting is killing me.

We where told that Disney has to issue an estoppel before we get ours, it can take 20-30 days apparently

DduzDis---$111-$18038-150-BLT-Feb-0/16, 152/17, 150/18, 150/19- sent 2/27

Was hoping to hear back quickly. But, as someone put it before... in ROFR purgatory.

Thanks! It's my first shot at one. I hope they waive but we have time if not. We're going on rented points in 10 days and hope to go on our own points next year. BLT or bust!!

Decided to pursue a more expensive BLT contract but it's smaller and loaded... I posted before on rofr but may not be starting tomorrow so removed the info. And will repost to avoid confusion. Excited at this is our prime favorite location. I lost the SSR contract which we were pursuing with how good of a deal.it was. I don't think we will regret getting home resort priority booking for BLT. Fingers crossed!

Very disappointed but my contract was taken by Disney. Back to square one. Have to decide if I want to pursue another contract...

tds1---$84-$18849-200-BWV-Sep-141/16, 200/17, 200/18- sent 2/13, taken 3/6

Mickey seems busy stacking up the contracts. Makes me nervous. Doesn't help that I wait in hurry. Lol

Ducksdad---$84-$20883-225-SSR-Dec-225/15, 225/16, 225/17, 225/18- sent 3/8

Still trying to get my first contract. Lost an OKW two weeks ago that was loaded...but not as loaded as this one.

Probably going to get taken but I couldn't let it go by.

I know people are getting nervous when they see contracts being taken but please don't. My first one was taken when it was a much less attractive deal to others that passed and my second one passed when more expensive contracts (one which is actually identical to my contract in terms of everything except it was $2 more per point) that where all sent to ROFR on the same day got taken. There really is no way of knowing until you get that email/call

This seems excessive. On the one I just bought from the day I put in the offer to logging on and making my first booking was a total of 5 weeks 2 days. So 30 days for closing docs doesn't seem right to me.

My last contract went over the 30 days, blew by my anticipated closing date by about a week...nobody on the broker/finance/disney end seemed concerned, just usual business. So far my recent rofr went fast...so my fingers are crossed by patience is the big thing with resale!! good luck!
