As many times as I've been to Disney, I've never been to CRT. I thought maybe we'd try it this year and just looked at the menu. There was just an average overall price though. If that's true, then breakfast for the 3 of us would be $180? It that right? Is it at least all you care to eat?

Yeah about $60 for adults and 35 for kids. If you've seen the menu surely you can see it's not all you care to eat? It's set meals. You do get pastries in the middle of the table though.

I thought they would send more of anything you ask for? Or have they done away with that?

How do you figure out the exact price? We are going in May and I always see a range in prices, so I have no idea what the price will actually be at the time of our trip.

Unless you are on the Dining Plan you should have pre-paid when you booked. Check your account.

It's also possible to have the dining plan but pay out of pocket here at time of service (since it's not worth 2 credits to a lot of people). That's what we always did.

It's overpriced for the food you get in my opinion. Now that my kid's are getting older and my DD is out of the "princess phase" I planned on skipping it, but they both want to go again. Something about getting to eat in the castle that keeps us coming back. I miss having the option of a castle meal without the characters though, especially now that the kids are older. Would love to be able to have the castle dining experience without the "rushed" feel of a character meal.

So it's about $30 overpriced

At least you used to be able to justify part of that difference because it included a photo print package. But that was quietly discontinued a couple years ago and the price just keeps going up, even without it.

For years, it was AYCTE, and then several years ago, it was still AYCTE but they stopped telling you that, and wouldn't offer that info unless you asked. I would usually get two of the breakfast dishes. Then sometime in 2015, I think it was, it really did become "one-and-done". Now I haven't been back since this change, so it's possible that if one asks for seconds, they'll bring them. But that's now contrary to the "official" policy.

Keep in mind that it includes tax and tip. By my calculation, that makes Akershus about the same price as CRT.

I haven't eaten at CRT for yrs.
I usually book kind of last minute since I have an AP
I'm having Lunch there on my birthday in March, because an ADR popped up so I grabbed it. :yay:
I have TiW, so the 20% off will be nice.

It's relative. Is your kid a HUUUUUGE princess fan and can't do the trip without seeing all of them? Then yes. Is the food worth it? No. You pay for the experience of being in the castle and meeting all of the princesses.

Akershus in EPCOT is a similar experience and similar price. It used to be cheaper but not really any more.Better yet if Cinderella and prince will do and the castle is not a priority try 1900 Park fare at the GF for dinner.
