So much to say, but sadly, not only am I pulley, ver pully, but I'm laying in my room atR French Quarter, trying to reply using an ipad and a dodgy Disney wifi connection. Excuse the typos, please.
Yes, we're back, using the tail end of our AP's, which expire on Thursday. We arived on Wednesday, with me starting to develop a bad cough/cold conveniently on Tuesday. Bill had a touch of stuffiness so by the time we landed, his left ear was blocked and my right ear was blocked. Leading to some very edifying conversations like this:
Me: How much cash are you bringing to the park tomorrow?
Him: Yes.
Anyway, he is not sick nut I still am. It got chilly today so I sent him to MK solo after a morning at HS.
I wanted to give my two cents about the Sept Dismeet. I thought it went fine, given the insanely small venue, insanely HUGE F&W crowd, and the massive T-storms that shut down transportation. I wanted to meet rhe famous Ponzi and I did! At one point he asked me to take his bag while he searcheded for other life forms, and OMG- this crazy guy carried a sack full of cinderblocks (plus a tripod) from his hotel room all around the World Showcase! It weighed a TON. But it was full of goody bags, of which we took two and kindly lightened hhis load.
Will add more in a bit- Bill just got back. Dang, I missed the Country Bear Jamboree...
