How's the water pressure in the showers at Disney resorts?

I go on TripAdvisor often and read reviews on the Disney resorts. I remember one complaining about the water pressure at the Polynesian Resort. So I'm wondering how the water pressure is in general at the Disney resorts?

I have never had a problem. In fact, I don't think I've ever had better water pressure anywhere than when I stayed at YC. My husband said the same thing. I've also stayed at WL, CBR, SSR, POR, AKL and AoA and have no complaints. Haven't tried Poly yet so no help there.

Stayed At a few different WDW resorts and never had a water pressure issue except with the Poly DVC studio second shower. I think it was because of the split with the rain shower head. The Tub/shower in the main bath had great water pressure.

We've stayed at every resort on property but for the DVC units. Never had a single complaint about water pressure.
I'll be honest and find Trip Advisor a waste of time to read. Too many planted reviews, both good and bad. I no longer believe any of them.

I know what you mean. I mainly go on to look at all the pictures of the resorts. Most reviews are great, but I like to read the terrible ones for fun.

No matter which resort you go to, you will always get people that will go out of their way to find something to complain about. At the resort I work at here in Vegas, we always get those people that crawl around on their hands and knees to find a hair on the floor to get compensation. Those same people also threaten to leave a bad Yelp/TA review if things don't go their way, so I always take individual reviews with skepticism.

Besides that, I've had zero problems with the water pressure at any Disney Resort.

Those of us who get flippin burnt on the bare head in the afternoon and take a shower later that night, there is actually too much pressure! Same thing for the next morning. Stayed all over WDW and never had a problem with water pressure. Now the smell of that water???............I usually get used to the smell on the longer trips.

Oh my word yes! It's an impossible wish but wouldn't it be great if they could install the worlds largest water filter (in the shape of a Mickey of course) before the water even reaches WDW property?

We just returned home from a 4-night stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. The shower in our bathroom was incredible! So much so, that my wife is now totally disappointed in the shower in our master bathroom. I am currently searching for a new shower head for our shower at home. The shower in our AKV-KV 1BR unit was amazing! Under the water handle/temp adjust, there is a switch that allows you to fine tune the amount of water pressure, from a light trickle to a blasting fire hose! I really wish I would have examined the shower head manufacturer more closely as I am now searching for that exact shower head or something similar.

If anyone is currently staying at AKV Kidanin, can you please take a close look at the shower head and post the manufacturer if it's available? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

I had a discussion with another Disney goer at the AoA pool. We were both saying how awesome the shower pressure is. Couldn't wait to get a shower everyday and noticed the difference when we came home lol

We've never stayed at the Poly (we will this year), but we've never had a problem with water pressure at any of the resorts. Actually, at YC, I remember thinking my skin may get torn off it was so strong, lol.

Like everyone else, we've never had a problem at any of the resorts we've stayed at. The shower head at the Poly did seem a little lower than other resorts, but the water pressure was fine.

Can only speak for the WL.... all opinion, it's terrible. Sticking your head under the bathtub spout to rinse off shampoo terrible :).
The funny thing - it's not the PRESSURE, it's the low-flow dribble shower heads.

A confession - several years ago, I packed a cheap, drilled out, "not green" shower head into my suitcase. Along with a pair of pliers.
EVERY hotel I had to stay in for more than about 3 nights? I took THEIR "earth friendly" shower head off & put MINE on :). I put THEIRS back before checkout :).
It worked BEAUTIFULLY EVERY TIME- including at WDW :).
