***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I fly out of Newark tomorrow at 10:40!:banana::banana::banana::banana: I am sooooooooooooo excited!!!
Have a great trip. I've been wearing my Dec tag on my navy blue string bag but haven't seen anyway with one yet. At least the tag is festive with the red ribbon I added and looks kind of Christmasy. ;) We'll be at MK until about 1:30pm tomorrow.

I haven't been to wdw in ages, so I can't compare, but it seemed that mk was mobbed today. Could have just been certain times/locations. But I'm curious to know what the actual level is/was. Hope you're all well!
Monday is the busiest day day of the week, along with Saturday, for the MK. And it is worse this time of year with all the Christmas parties. We went to Epcot instead. We saw the storytellers at Norway and Japan and watched the Voices of Liberty. We really enjoyed the Norway one. ::yes::

I'm glad to hear that you are having a good time. :)

Good evening, everyone!!! I hope you're all having an amazing time for those of you that are here!! And others (@DisneyBelle27 ) .. safe travels tomorrow!!
It's been such an incredible few days. Flying by!!!!! :( everything has been awesome... and one "word"
SDFP!! They're awesome. I haven't been to wdw in ages, so I can't compare, but it seemed that mk was mobbed today. Could have just been certain times/locations. But I'm curious to know what the actual level is/was. Hope you're all well! See some of you at the dessert party !
I actually think it was better today than Sunday at MK. Sunday there was hardly any same day fast pass availability and today there was tons. I managed to get some really good stuff later in the day.

Btw, were you towards the front of the PPO line today at MK with a double stroller and one pooh dressed kid?. I it might be you since I knew you had PPO crystal palace today and your big pooh fans. Sorry If it was that I didn't get to say hi!

We were at MK today and it was crazy! I don't know if anyone else there experienced this but for the castle lighting, Wishes, and OUAT we kept having people with kids on their shoulders or cameras held way up taking videos or pics the whole time so with us being short we had such a hard time seeing. We had another great day! We started out with breakfast at WCC. We got there early so was able to see the geyser. We did rides in primarily Fantasyland and Tomorrowland except for the Liberty Belle Riverboat and WDW Railroad. We had lunch at LTT. We really enjoyed Royal Friendship Faire and saw FOF. Dinner was at Tony's. Our table was on the patio so got to experience the Flag Retreat and tree lighting.

That was us! :) i kept telling my family I was looking for people but I didn't know exactly who to look for!!! I was glad to recognize the adorable shirts @areno79 shared here!

We had breakfast at Garden Grove before our last day at Epcot yesterday. Went on the few attractions in FW we didn't get to before lunch at Tutto. Unfortunately we only got to see one of remaining storytellers we had left since most of them were cancelled because of the rain except Mexico which was held indoors. By the time it stopped we had to leave to get to our early dinner at TRex followed by dessert at Ghiradelli. We liked the Christmas Tree Trail and the drone show.

Hey @Candycane83 !! Were you at the 800 seating at ajershus today? I looked around for you, ( for your son since I knew what he looked like :) ) but I didn't see you. We were in the back room. I was surprised how long fea was when we got out. We left the restaurant at 850ish and the line was already 30 min. We waited but I was still a bit surprised. It's shut down now, so we'll" have to show up to honor our fp later

Yesterday was the day we did not plan anything other than Cape May breakfast and HDDR. Originally we were thinking mini golf but decided to go to MK for a bit. Then we visited the GF for the gingerbread house (I bought an edible ornament) and then saw the Frozen display at the CR resort. After the show we walked around to see the nearby campgrounds decorated.

Are you at MK on Friday? Maybe we'll see you. We are planning on EMH in the am. We have a crystal palace lunch and will be watching the parade near the Christmas shop in liberty square.

We were at MK yesterday. Had breakfast at CP. We focused on Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square but did the few things in the other lands that we missed the other MK day. Dinner was at BOG before the MVMCP. I don't know what was in the water yesterday but we encountered some guests and CMs with attitudes towards us. First was at lunch. We did CS and because a few people in my family have food allergies they had to call someone to take our order and then got a pager. When it went off and we went to pick up the food it was only the allergy meals and not mine. I realized I forgot to bring the receipt so turned to my husband and gave him the tray with the allergy food and asked if he could run to our table and get it. Apparently a couple had just gotten their food and were trying to get out but at that place there isn't a lot of room in the order lines and pickup area so I moved the best I could in order for them to get by and the guy started screaming at me about how rude and inconsiderate I am. The other time was when were were leaving the party. We were turning onto Main Street and this guy with one of those 3 kids strollers almost hit us so we had to stop suddenly. A guy was apparently walking too close behind and almost bumped into us so he started screaming at us about stopping in the middle. Also yesterday I believe was the first time we encountered rude CMs. We were in MK so did not have the party program to know if anything changed from in the past as to who has the party merchandise. We went to one of the stores to double check and both CMs we encountered made us feel like we were rude and inconveniencing them by asking questions. By 4:15 pm the stuff still wasn't out and we had to get to dinner so we want to the nearest location for our wristbands and after dinner went to a different store to get our shirts.

How was tonys? We stuck our heads in but ate at Columbia harbor house

Hi friends!!! Got back last night! We had a great trip even though we ended up changing some plans on the fly ;-) My nephew and sister said that I'm a "good planner" and we had a lot of fun. I didn't check in here because we were constantly on the go!! Saw a bunch of Dis-boards people at the JBJB party on 12/3, met @Mintycake (Jennifer) and her family on the walkway from Contemporary to Early Morning Magic and also after a ride on 7D, and spent time in three countries with @DisneyBelle27 (Katie) where we enjoyed beverages in Italy, Japan, and America

It looks like posting from everyone slowed down so I'll catch up and do some posting this weekend!

Hope to see more pictures and trip reports from everyone!
... and I just looked outside and it is snowing so I hope everyone has a safe trip home.

Maybe I was just in a better mood this time, but I didn't notice any rude guests this time (or else I just ignored them). It did seem like a lost of the cast members at the stores/restaurants were just putting in their time. I didn't notice anyone going out of their way to be pleasant or overly helpful. I haven't gone enough times to know if this has changed over time.

Going to GF to see the gingerbread house was on my wishlist, but we just didn't have the time for it {sigh} and we ended up cancelling Saana lunch so we didn't get to AKL either. Really enjoyed all of the decorations in the park and I think we ended up getting pictures with every park tree and also Disney Springs :-)

Next time for GF!

Today we had breakfast at TH and spent the day at AK. Lunch was at Rainforest Cafe and we went to AKL for dinner at Boma. The family did not want to go back for the evening stuff so hopefully next trip. Tomorrow is our last day and we will be at DHS.

hey everyone!!
Just landed back in Boston and I am SOOO sad!! :( it's freezing . And I'm already on the computer looking up dates to book another trip!!! :)
It was so nice running into @DisneyBelle27 , @Candycane83 @Lisa F and @areno79 . What beautiful families.
I hope you all had an amazing time. I definitely ran my family around, and it was great! But, now I know what to do for next time, and I can see it flowing much better!
Are any of you planning or thinking about another trip? I was previously hoping my husband would go again when the girls are older (5 years) But i want to convince him to go next year :) :) :)
would any of you ever do the 1st week of Dec again? Maybe a 1st week of december part deux thread??

I wanted to eat there but got scared off by the reviews.

We ended up making a super last minute lunch reservation there because my fiancé was worried about not being able to find anything he liked for lunch at MK (after having lunch at BOG our first MK day). I didn't want him to be hangry, he turns into a butthead. It ended up being fine and I was glad we had the ADR because all the lines for QS were insanely long that day. I was worried based on reviews too but we just split a Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza and didn't have any complaints.

Welcome home to those of you who are back!! Enjoy your remaining time to those still there!! So cool some of you actually met up with each other!!
We've been home since last Sunday. It was super depressing and hard to adjust. We usually go to Disney in April and it is much easier coming home in April than in Dec. It is so cold here... brrrr. We had a great time. I looooved seeing all decorated. Seeing the castle lit up literally bought a tear to my eye and the fireworks at MVMCP were the best!!
We decided we are going back to Disneyland for our next disney trip. We did WDW for the past 2 times and miss how convenient and easy DL is.... also cars land and Radiator Springs racers is awesome. Until then, we have a Florida trip planned in April to do the Clearwater area beaches, Legoland, and a day at Universal for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So, I'm focusing on that trip to ease the pain of re-entry into the non-Disney world.
Happy Holidays!!
