"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

Just curious, anyone know for sure where is Jack (Sandy Claws) meeting? I'm seeing conflicting sources. Most say the Liberty Square Gazebo, but I've also heard Frontierland.

Also, if it is the gazebo, is it the one behind the Christmas shop? I'm trying to remember where that is exactly.

Thanks!

Kenny the Pirate posted something based on "info he received last night" and shows he will be at the Liberty Square Gazebo. I'm not sure if this was part of the info he received but he always seems to be spot on with characters

Ditto. Especially Kenny the Pirate, Touring Plans, Tourist Blog, any/everyone who posts plans and guides for these events.
I'm pretty sure Kenny the Pirate is going tonight and I think I saw Josh from EasyWDW is going as well.

Is it still a good idea to go to the late parade? I am still trying to figure out when we should do 7dmt. Also if we do the later parade how late do they close the queue for rides? Also considering doing the Mickey's Most Merriest at midnight? What time do they really start pushing you out of the park? how long can I linger on mainstreet and do shopping?

It almost seems like we should get a good spot for the Frozen Holiday and then stay there for the Parade and Mickey's Most Merriest and Holiday Wishes. Then we would be free for rides from 10:30-12?

Otherwise this is my first try at a plan:
4:00pm Enter
FP 3:30-4:30pm Splash Mountain
FP 4:30-5:30pm Big Thunder Mountain
Haunted Mansion
FP 5:30-6-30pm Jingle Cruise
Pirates
Photos on Main Street
8:15pm A Frozen Holiday Wish - Castle Lighting
Space Mountain
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Buzz Lightyear
Philharmagic
dumbo
7dmt
10:00pm Holiday Wishes
10:30pm Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration
11:00pm Holiday Parade
11:35pm Tomorrowland Christmas Show

This is where Jack & Sally met during MNSSHP this year, so suspect that's accurate.

Since the Beast is your main goal, why not just order a cupcake or some soup, and make it a quick stop instead of a full dinner? Even if you do just that, I still think you're going to be waiting in some long lines for the characters you want to meet. That is prime time for BEING in line for the popular ones.

THIS. I feel like a person needs to choose between the popular characters (KtP thinks Judy and Nick will be a CRAZY line since they're new and a party-exclusive) and eating a nice dinner. I can't imagine the line you'll find if you can't line up until after 7 for both Sandy Claws AND Nick & Judy! :scared1: Throwing a 3yo into the mix on top of all that and I would be making difficult choices at that point. I would choose one OR the other, not both. Do BOG if that's important to you but then decide to skip those characters, maybe go for some of the less popular ones later on if you want. OR skip BOG (you did it last time, right? So it's nothing new) and opt for making either Sandy Claws or Nick & Judy your priority and line up for that one first. Anticipate that you will only be able to do one or the other and be happily surprised if it works out to do both character greets. Just my 2 cents. I've never been to a party yet, but I've been reading the MNSSHP threads and trip reports with great interest and most people, especially those with young children, seem to have tough choices to make in order to get the most out of their party time, which includes ENJOYING it. ;)

Plenty of time. The parade won't actually reach Main Street until 11:15 or so. We usually grab a spot near the flagpole a little before 11 and have never had a problem getting a front row seat.

You can absolutely see Wishes from Main Street - it's the best (and most popular) spot to view them.

Thanks so much for the help. If we want to see wishes (10:00), mickeys most merriest (10:30), then the late parade(11:00) would you recommend finding one spot and sticking there? If so, where would that be and how early before 10:00 should we get there. Or, should we see the stage show earlier in the evening and just do wishes and parade at the end?

My favorite spot to watch wishes is the plaza gardens. You'll have a goodish view of the stage show from there, though the best views are closer to the castle. But you'll have no view of the parade there. To get 1 good spot for all 3 you'd need to be on Main Street close to the castle and would need to snag it at least 60 minutes prior. That means you're in the same spot for 2 hours +. I'd opt for a different stage show, watch wishes from the gardens then the late parade by the flagpole.
