Disney Wonder - Galveston to San Jaun - January 20, 2017

Monday Forget Me Not's....

Happy Monday everyone. We have 11 Mondays to go :hyper:. I am getting so excited.
This weeks Forget me not is your important numbers and contact information.

Just in case there is a need, it is a good idea to have a list of important numbers, and contact information.
This could come in handy for many situations. Such as medical emergencies, or being a dock runner that happens to be just a few minutes late, and misses the boat. Or even the 'did I forget to turn the stove off' incidents. It is better to have them, and not need them, than to need them, and not have them.
Other numbers that you may want to include on that list are the hotel for your after cruise stay, and your airline. If anyone else is like me, you are thinking, I have all of that on my phone. The down side of that is I am sure for every 'I have it in my phone' person there is a phone power zapper (I am traveling w/ 2).
You may also want the contact information list to send post cards to your friends back home. Truth be told though, I like having the addresses for post cards on printed, peel and stick labels.
Either way, these simple sheets of paper that will not bog your luggage down may come in quite handy.

:darth:Happy Not So Scary Halloween,:tink:

P.S. When you receive your cruise document book a few weeks before sailing, there will be cards with ship contact information on it for you to give to anyone who may need to reach you in case of emergency or such.

Attention Group 2 FEer's

I just received a PM from SithSanchez saying "We have changed our plans and need to quit from the Disboards FE group".

If it is okay with everyone, I will fill that spot with Mntparish that just joined yesterday so that you still have a full group of 10 cabins.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

~Tink~
I am excited to be in a FE group. What information do you need from me?

Attention moms with little ones.....
Angel Rae (our newest member) also has a little one ( 3 yrs old). She will also be staying at the Harbor House and attending the meet. The idea about starting a PM so that y'all could plan something for the little ones was brought up a few pages back. If you have started that, I just wanted to let you know there is a new member that you can invite.
I have a 3 and 5 year old so I sould be interested in this as I am staying at the Harbor House the night before the cruise as well.

We are still looking for 3 more participants (which will bring the count to 20) to guarantee a reservation in advance for mixology . We can have up to 40 people in the group. So if we reach 20 and you are still interested, there will still be room for more.
I am going to try to post this at the top of each page (going forward ) so new members won't have to search to find out what we are planning.

~Planned activities ~
(Meets, cabin crawls, mixology, etc )

Awesome, do you want me to add you to the regular Harbor House Meet as well?

And welcome to 10. I will get the PM right out to you!

I am trying to send the PM. The system is not recognizing that you are set to get messages yet. I will continue to try. If I can't get it to go through tonight , I will send it out in the morning.
Do I need to change settings somewhere in order to accept private messages?

Had anyone ever done the high tea. I was contemplating booking (if its even available). The price tag is giving me a slight anxiety attack! Is it worth it?
I have watched some youtube videos and it looks cool. But ya know I just don't know if its a money grab and all hype!
If you did it woukd you do it again. Is it a one time splurge been there done that kinda gig?
My brain likes sparkly shiny things so I often get caught up in impulsive purchases and I often am left thinking... oh that wasn't as great as my brain made it out to be.
Whatcha guys/gals think?

Dito! I have been wondering the same. I was going to ask later on the cruise after some of you have had the chance to do it, but I would love to hear anyone's experiences now as well (for future grand daughter possibilities and info for future career path...well and because I would like to be a princess {or a pixie} for a day!).
Thanks in advance for any input, and thanks Angel for asking!

Hi All :) It has been a while since I have logged on I feel so out of touch :/ Does anyone know when the Royal high tea is? I heard it might be on the cozumel day? I hope this isn't true. please let me know if you have any info thanks :)

Okay time for my 20 questions lol...
So I am allowed to check in on the 6th, Do I do that before I book my excursions? Do I do it right on the Disney cruise site? Does anyone know where I can access the excursions before this date so I know what we are interested in? My husband really wants to scuba dive in Cozumel, can you see if that is still available? How do I get the tickets for the meet and greet? Can I do this in advance or just on the ship?
Thanks!!!! I am sure I will think of more questions lol

I just went and checked all of the days, and the only one I see that has the Royal High Tea is on the Cozumel day. Sorry.
One thought though, if your husband wants to go scuba diving in Cozumel, maybe you could do the Tea with your little one while he does the scuba? I don't know, just a thought.
.....See next post about scuba.....

Yeah good thought but I really wanted to explore cozumel too. I guess I will skip the tea then :(

Edited version...I changed all pics to thumbnails. The pictures are great visual effects because I am a visual learner, but the full pics were a little overwhelming. Please click on pics to see what I am referencing. Hopefully it is easier to view now.

1. So I am allowed to check in on the 6th, Do I do that before I book my excursions? 2.Do I do it right on the Disney cruise site? 3. Does anyone know where I can access the excursions before this date so I know what we are interested in? 4. My husband really wants to scuba dive in Cozumel, can you see if that is still available? 5. How do I get the tickets for the meet and greet? 6. Can I do this in advance or just on the ship?
Thanks!!!! I am sure I will think of more questions lol
Okay, I went up and numbered your questions 1 - 6.

1. When your check in window opens (midnight on the 5th (Florida time)- for example we are in Texas, and I was able to check in at 11:01 PM the night before our check in day Texas time (central time zone)) you can go and start your check in. When you are done you would go to reserve all of your excursions, on board activities requiring tickets, and any adult dining.

2. Yes, you will log into your Disney account on disneycruise.disney.go.com and go to My Disney Cruise
point to my disney cruise.jpg
Then choose Online Check in from the drop down menu.

This will bring you to a window that looks like this:

Work all of the way through each step. You will need passports, address for where you will be staying if you are spending the night in San Juan, and emergency contact information. You can elect to print the check in form later if you don't want to risk loosing it.
Once you have checked in, you can select go back to my reservation in the upper left hand corner. This will bring you to a page that looks like this:
reservation pg.jpg
From here, you can click on Activities : Book now.

3. As for checking the excursions out ahead of time, Disney has made that difficult. We used to be able to look at them in the same place that we would later be able to book them. However, now you have to go as if you are looking at a new cruise, and check out the excursions for each port. If you are looking for something in particular, I would be happy to copy the information. Or I could try to copy a ports listed ones on my activities page. Just let me know.

4. Cozumel scuba diving:

5. Ticket for Meet and Greets: Follow the directions at the end of question 2 above. Once you pull up the page for reserving activities, choose the day you want to schedule the ticketed Meet and Greet and click the ling at the bottom of that day. That will bring you to this page:
character greet tickets.jpg

Select On Board Fun, and pick which activity you want to get tickets for.

6. Everything above can be done once your online check in window opens. If you wait until you board, there may not be space left available.

Sorry for the length. Hope it helps.
