Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

Received my first purple band and started working on a Halloween Style Haunted Mansion Wallpaper motif. Can't decide whether to stop now, while the stopping is good, or continue and cover the entire band. There would need to be a lot of duplication to continue and I'm not sure if that would make the band look too busy. Any thoughts?

I think your band looks great as it is....less is more! I like it much better than the Haunted Mansion MB that they sell at the park.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes- they are printable waterproof vinyl and I designed them, printed and cut with my silhouette cutter.

Hi Tarahart24, I love the bands you made! I'm interested in creating my own vinyl as well. You had mentioned wanting to try the contouring product because the regular one wrinkled a little on your bands. Is this the one you were looking at? http://www.texascraft.com/hps/Inkje...erproof-Vinyl-8.5-in.-x-11-in.-10-Sheets.html
Did you ever get to try it? In the description, it mentions using their spray or their laminate over the vinyl to make it more sun & waterproof. Did you try that?
Thanks for your help!

This is beautiful. Nice job!

Decorated mine for my trip last month with a collage decal of some of my flower photography for Flower and Garden.

I went simple with bands for our trip starting this weekend. I was impressed that my DH was willing to go along with any decorating, so I didn't want to overwhelm him! I liked the idea of the mickey/minnie theme. I just used acrylic paint, and the bow is a nail sticker. A coat of clear polish over my DH's mickey head, but nothing on mine (yet).

Simple and perfect!

Finally got my MB's and had to go right to work. They are not perfect, but I am happy and my family is very happy with them.
Here they are... left to right, Hubby's-Alladin, daughters-Howl's Moving Castle,sons-Wall-e,and mine-Mulan. The pictures are the same order of band, just turning them so I can show the entire band.

Love these! How did you do it?

I finally convinced my mom to come to WDW with me and my DD15 in Feb. She requested a character from a classic Disney movie, and she is a sewer, so here is what I came up with.

I think this is my fave banding the entire thread. Your creativity and attention to detail inspire me.

Hi All! DD and I are in the process of decorating our bands. Had a little mishap and need to know if you can remove acrylic paint from the band with nail polish remover? Thank you!

Acrylic paint should come off with water and a little careful scraping with a Q-tip or finger nail. Polish remover would be more useful on oil based paints.
