Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

What are the benefits of the preferred rooms? Close to food court or bus stop? Looking for something close to bus stop for the youngest in our party. Thanks!

Preferred rooms are closest to the Food Court and Main Feature Pool. Every village has it's own bus stop and leisure pool so you are never far from one no matter where your room is.

I suggest checking out pages #1 and #2 of this thread as just about everything you need to know for an awesome stay is on those 2 pages.

Has anyone tried the newly offered Pirate Camp at CBR? It's on the recreation calendar and appears to be separate from the Caribbean Pirate Cruise. I'm wondering what they do? And if my 11 year old will think it's too childish? My 6 year old would love just about pirate anything.

Closer to the food court...you are never really too far from the buses at CBR.

Two in my party plan on golfing twice (or more!)during our trip. Which building would you suggest I request so that they are close to the taxi pick up. Sorry if I missed this information in the first two pages!

Each building is close to a round-about. Call a cab and have them pick the golfers up there. It's what I do.

Hi everyone! New to this forum and trying to figure out where to stay. My family and I are planning a trip in September. For those who have been what is the best area to request a room in? And so the bus stops at every village? And do you guys know what villages or spots have the Murphy beds?

1. For those who have been what is the best area to request a room in?

2. And so the bus stops at every village?

3. And do you guys know what villages or spots have the Murphy beds?

1. We like Jamaica 45 the best and Aruba 51 next. But there really isn't a bad location.

2. Yup. Except for the morning rush. Then they send 2 buses for each park. One bus hits 3 stops. The second bus hits the other 4 stops.

3. Every building has rooms with Murphy Beds except for the Pirate Themed rooms in Trinidad South.

OMG I missed my DD dance, who's gonna join the conga?:wave2:
:dancer::jumping1::jumping2:party::dancer:

Booked our flight today and what a cafuffle !! ( British word for nightmare getting it booked lol ) Firstly there were no flights From Houston to Orlando ( under 4,000 bucks for 4 of us) so we had to switch to Tampa. Then we couldnt get any flights home on the Sunday so we have had to book the Monday!! What a shame we have to stay in Florida an extra night...Im so upset...heheheheh ;) Flights ended up costing for 4 of us $1200. Pretty good price I think just have to find somewhere to stay on our extra night close to Tampa. Still sitting with two reservations but Im going to fix that tonight and cancel one..Im going to get my beloved CBR if I have to be sneaky about it and cancel when no ones looking .
Haha not heard *cafuffle* for a while, are you a fellow Brit then?:D

I've been noticing a number of folks planning or considering a first visit to CBR. I've recently found this video that gives a very nice overview of the CBR grounds and pools. I'm sure many have already seen it but it has nice quality video/audio and makes me feel like I'm back there when I watch it.

No not seen this one before, thanks for posting:thumbsup2

Okay, I'm sorry to keep pummeling this strand with my newb questions, but this is where the experience is so here goes:

At this point I know when we're going: Many, many moons from now
Where we're staying : CBR due to some fabulous advice
and a plethora of other things from how many days we're going to spend in each park to which restaurants we'd like to eat at to what pins we're going to be trading for!

So I've been reading and researching and having all sorts of discussions with my family. I feel like my trip is SO far away, but I've noticed lots of sigs with countdown clocks for people whose vacations are just as far away as mine.

Thanks again for any advice offered!

I feel your pain.. November 2018 here!

I am sooo happy to see all these posts about how much everyone loves CBR. We have stayed at POP for our past 9 stays and never at CBR but we needed a room for 5. We are sooo looking for our stay at CBR after reading all the great things in this thread!
You will NEVER go back! So much more room, quieter, more beautiful, I could go on and on!

@dansdad,
Would you be willing to share the fb pages for CBR that you're following? Not stalking I swear, I just got a fb account not long ago and I'd love to follow CBR, thanks in advance!

We are going to be at the resort during christmas week...I know it's going to be crazy busy but has anyone any experience from taking buses to the parks?

Depending on which island we are allocated for our stay, is there a possibility that the buses will always be full by the time they get to us?

We usually stay during Free Dining when the resort is at capacity and we've never had an issue with buses passing by because it's full.

During the morning rush they now send 2 buses for each park. One bus picks up at 3 of the stops and the other picks up at the other 4.
