Worst Commercial Ever!!

Oh that voice. Yuck. And I have to say that where I work we do not interview people that get their degrees from online degree mills, so a degree is not really a degree.

Wow I've never seen an advert for a university before! Possibly open university but that's it. I try to avoid ads now lol!

Must be because YOU don't have a brain.

:rotfl2:

Idiots! :headache:

I can't stand the puppy monkey baby one from the SuperBowl...creepy; and what was the commercial even for?

That one creeped me out at first and then my honey started teasing our little dog and calling her puppymonkeybaby (she recognizes puppy as her name) and then it sort of stuck.

I hate the smoking commercials. Yes, I turn the channel to keep from watching them. I hate that they have problems from smoking but they made that choice. I don't watch it.

I also hate the newer Viagra commercials. The single female talking about ED is annoying.

And the Zyrtec one! Yes, we know 6 is greater than 1. I don't turn that one too.

I have NO idea.....I turn away every time it shows up. The sight of that "thing" skeeves me out, just like the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. I'm almost 70 and they STILL scare me.

You know which one makes me want to rip my hair out, each and every time it's on:

SOUP and SANDWICH and CLEANNNNNN and REALLLL

Oh really? I've been eating dirty and fake food this whole time? Thanks for bringing this to my attention! Let me drive and eat some SOUP and SANDWICH and CLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN and REALLLLLLLLLL food at your lovely Panera restaurant to load up my belly with some SOUP and SANDWICH and CLEAN and REAL food where I can have "inside jokes" and school nights and whatever else you just said....

Can you tell I hate this commercial?! lol

We have to drop whatever we're doing and run for the remote or TV and mute the channel anytime it comes on. It seems to come on every other commercial break on one channel, so we do a lot of "mute-ing" in this household!!

Especially as the food at Panera has slipped in quality lately... slipped quite a bit. In fact, we had such a terrible meal lately that the manager comped us the meal and sent Panera-bucks for a subsequent visit, which also was crummy. I think they've gone over to using a lot of prepackaged/frozen sandwiches for the pressed sandwiches or something. It was bad... both times.

My current least favorite commercial is the Liberty Mutual commercial: "Your first car was Brad. You loved Brad. You went through so much with Brad... and then you totaled Brad." She sounds so ignorant. I'd never buy Liberty Mutual products based simply on that ad.

Nice pic (I found this humerus), I have that on a shirt :)

I like the University of Phoenix commercial. If you get past the voice, and listen to the words, I think it is great. The extended version could fit for a man or a woman. Anyone who has taken bullets to the chest for our country, pulled through, gotten some education, and now stands in front of employer waiting for an answer....deserves a well thought out response! :worship:

But what they are trying to sell is that an online diploma is just the same as a real one, and that simply isn't true.

I admit I know nothing about university of Phoenix, but what is wrong with their degree? Is it because it's an online school? Are all online schools looked at this way? Are the classes just not challenging? I only ask because my son has been doing online courses since middle school. He's a high school sophomore now. They are through the school and he does them because he's taking courses that aren't offered through his school. He still has to take tests and exams to prove he's mastered the material. It isn't fake education. It isn't the easy way out. He takes hard courses. Also online college seems like it would be perfect for working adults. So why is it seen as a bad thing?

College the old fashioned way is not really the best option for working adults, parents, current military, or former military making the transition to civilian life, etc. While some online schools are degree mills, so are some traditional institutions. I hope one day we get away from the very overpriced in person only, if you want to be taken seriously, model we have today.

I've seen part of that commercial before. The girl at the end annoys me so much. I want to yell, "The man wants to go home. Stop being a self-centered brat!"

It's not accredited like most colleges. They are accredited, but only regionally. And the way they were accrediting themselves was deemed sub-par.

They are also a for profit university. That doesn't bode well in many people's eyes. It appears that the the almighty dollar comes before a solid education.

That's why they have that line "a degree is a degree" when in reality to most it isn't.

The commercial for little cutie oranges. The little kid is in the cart screaming as he is pushed past the oranges in the grocery store and then the dad piles boxes of oranges in the cart. That screaming makes my blood pressure go up:mad:

I cannot stand those commercials! "Hey kids, if you act like a complete monster, your parents will bend to your will!"

Any of the ASPCA commercials. Stop showing those sad faces. I love animals, and have adopted rescue animals, but I have no more room for animals in my house, and I could drain my bank account making donations, and still, sadly, animals would be suffering.
