Ha! When I posted the Cookie Monster commercial I like, I couldn't think of the other ad that makes me chuckle. It was bugging me all night! That's the one!!

Love the Cookie monster one, also, DW and I might be driving down the hwy and I will say, "Well, the squirrels are back in the attic again! Dad won't call the exterminator, says it's personal this time!" Also the Tarzan one, I'll look at DW and say, "Tarzan don't know where Tarzan goes! Excuse me, the waterfall, do you know where the waterfall is?"

That was such a Debbie Downer -- and to play it during the Super Bowl?! WTH!

I couldn't grasp how the ad agency or Nationwide would think this was a good idea. Hey guys, while everyone in America is enjoying the big game eating nachos and wings let's tell a story about a kid dying. Yes! Let's do it.

We have to drop whatever we're doing and run for the remote or TV and mute the channel anytime it comes on. It seems to come on every other commercial break on one channel, so we do a lot of "mute-ing" in this household!!

I am pretty sure I know which In and Out commercial you are talking about. It involves a milkshake? It wasn't done by In and Out. It was done by some internet "celebrity" wannabe. She was contacted by In and Out's legal department and I don't think it is easily found anymore. Of course, nothing ever fully goes away on the internet....

Wow. I hated that commercial so much that I actually wrote the company. Apparently, I was one of many. I think their business took a nose dive after those aired. What made them think we would want to eat after seeing that commercial? It made me ill just looking at it.

Yes, we've had this thread before but I have a new one and today I had the "pleasure" of hearing the extended version. (I would've flipped the channel but it was while I was preparing dinner and was cutting raw chicken.) I do DVR most of my shows, but news and sports I watch live. They love airing it during those programs.

I hate, yes HATE this commercial! The woman's kid like whiny voice, ugh! And I really can't stand the line "a degree is a degree..." Nails on a chalkboard to me.

So, what's currently your least favorite commercial? Someone has to be with me on this one.

That is actually one of my favorite commercials- I don't care what it is for but I just like the whole commercial.

Agreed, but particularly the ones for gastrointestinal problems and erectile dysfunction. Just what I want to hear about while I'm watching TV.

I have always hated those- especially when your preschooler asks you "why do they have to go to the hospital if they have an erection for 4 hours" that was something I will never forget.

I hate the smoking commercials. Yes, I turn the channel to keep from watching them. I hate that they have problems from smoking but they made that choice. I don't watch it.

I also hate the newer Viagra commercials. The single female talking about ED is annoying.

And the Zyrtec one! Yes, we know 6 is greater than 1. I don't turn that one too.

The smoking one where they talk about being in a coffin but alive but not being able to catch you breath freaks me out and the one where they show a person with body parts cut off due to smoking- I don't even smoke and they freak me out, I cant imagine someone that smokes watching those commercials and ever picking up another cigarette

Thought of one more, the Staples commercial where the guy YELLS, "WOW! THAT'S A LOW PRICE!" I still won't go into Staples for that reason.

The Chevy commercials with the kids, especially the one with the girl yelling something in the back seat because the vehicle doesn't have wi-fi. Sorry kid, you do not dictate my buying choices.

I really hate the one that's mentioned in post #44 (sorry I don't know how to post the picture). Anyway, its the one where the guy looks like he's pregnant, and yes, there's some song about "I just can't wait to meet you, sweet child you're on the way" then he goes into the bathroom, apparently has a bowel movement and comes out not looking pregnant anymore. EEEWWWWW. I haven't seen it recently, hope they stopped showing it. Gross!
BTW, Its for some type snack food with fiber in it to help you be "regular"
I really just don't get it. Why would they show a guy looking pregnant, have a song playing about expecting a baby, then he goes to the bathroom and all is well....

And pad and tampon commercials. Every single one of them. It's not the fact that they are talking about pads and tampons, it's the stupid blue liquid and the way the women in the commercials look so damn thrilled to be using them. I am not that thrilled when I have to use them lol

The list of hated and annoying commercials is very, very long.

However the current favs are Jason and Ryan. Jason's you watch it the first time and your just like what the ...... Then you watch it again and a few more times and it grows on you.

And Ryan...um Hello It's Ryan Reynolds and lots of him!!

The minute I saw the title of this thread I knew it had to be that commercial-the moment it comes on the tv goes off or channel gets changed.

The song is horrendous and I feel sorry for the poor singer who has to get through that awful arrangement.

Even the words to the song are annoying- they make no sense.

And worst of all is that last line,
" but only if YOU have a brain"
spoken so condescendingly.

The end of this ad campaign can't come soon enough!

OK, have a new hated commercial - the Galaxy S7 "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" as they submerge the phone in champagne.

Not so much because it's bad (but it is), but because it's really stupid.
