How much is your 2016 Disney vacation going to cost you?

I haven't written it all out before and not sure I want to, but here goes..

Flights from Canada - MCO for 5 - $2743.40
7 Nights - BCV in 1 bedroom (rented points) - $3766.00
7 Nights - BLT in 1 bedroom lake view (rented points) - $4116.00
Dining Plan for 2 adults and 2 kids for 14 days - $2318
10 day base tickets - $1465.00
Pirates and Pals Cruise - $234
Spending money/souvenirs - $500

GRAND TOTAL - $15142.40

Yikes.

I hadn't written mine down before either. And yikes is exactly right!

Going 1st week in December, 2016--hotel (WL--8 nights), tickets (8-day PH), air, food, etc. will come to around $5,500,but hoping to get a room discount at some point and bring it down about $1,000. If I stay with WL, then I might also rent a car this time, so that will add another $300-400 with gas, tolls, etc.

As of right now ( I change my mind a thousand times and my TA probably hates me lol!)
Oct 30-Nov 5th
AoA Lion King Family Suite (Military room discount) $2100. Disney Dining plan for 3 included in that price.
We will purchase Military park tickets before we go so that will be an extra $600 or so.

$2700 total for 6 nights! :)

We are going in November 2016 with two adults and two kids.

- 8 nights at AKL with savannah view - $2700 (includes 40% military discount)
- 4 day hopper passes for four people - $800 (Salute to Armed Forces)

$3500 plus cost of transportation, meals, and souvenirs. I'm guessing we will be somewhere between $5000 and $6000, depending on if we fly or drive.

Oh boy. 9 nights at GF CL (sugarloaf) for a family of 5 (two kids under 3). I don't think I want to know.

Airfare $1500
Hotel $5598
8 day ticket $1053
MM $149
DP $1302
Spending money $1200 (includes BBB and PL)

Total $10,802

This was supposed to be a cheap trip too :earseek:

Surprise trip for DD and celebrating our 18th anniversary will cost our family of 3 around $2500

January 27th-Feb 1st:

5 nights at AOA = $700
5 day tickets 3 Disney adults (no park hopper) $1000
no dining plan, QS in parks, maybe a meal or two off site $700 (no TS meals and breakfast in our room)
Driving cost $100

We are going this year for Thanksgiving week - staying November 19-26, 2 adults and 2 children

Staying the 19-25th in a 1 bedroom at VWL. A friend gave us a great deal on her DVC points - $1050 for 6 nights. We'll stay the last night at a hotel near the airport, free with Hyatt points.
Park tickets - $1300 for 5 day MYW, non-hoppers. Paid for these completely with money earned from Swagbucks, Perk, Louder, etc. No out of pocket cost (but lots of time!)
Plane tickets - free with Southwest points, should be $40 in fees plus we'll likely add the early bird for the return trip, so another $40
Airport parking for the week - $100
Car rental for the week - free with points, budgeting $50 for gas/tolls
Food - budgeting $1000 for Disney food, free with Swagbucks, etc. Budgeting another $200 for non-Disney food/groceries.
Memory Maker - $150, free with Swagbucks etc.

So, our out of pocket costs should be just under $1500 for the week. Would be $5930 without the freebies, not counting the awesome deal we are getting at VWL.

We paid about $1800, we are booked for 5 nights at the Coronado Springs, Business Class King. We have 2 adults with 4 day passes with Park Hoppers. I received a PIN code via E-mail that save about 20%.
We fly in from Toronto to Orlando and fly back from Ft. Lauderdale because we have a cruise following our Disney vacation.
The funny part is it was cheaper to fly back from Ft. Lauderdale even though it's further away! LOL
We plan to use up a bunch of gift cards we received as Christmas gifts for food in the parks. Since we are in BC we have breakfast and some snacks covered.
Originally we were looking at staying at the Poly, but with the construction and the price being about double we booked a mod and then upgraded to suite on the cruise. I've always wanted to stay there, but I think I'll wait until it's complete so I can enjoy the finished product.

Feb 25-March 6 at CBR (pirate room water view) for 2 adults 1 child:

Resort @ military discount + dining plan: $3518
8 day base tickets: $1081
Galactic dessert party $177
$1000 spending money
Driving but renting a minivan from Hertz: $327

Total: $6103 :crutches:

We're paying $3,900 for 7 nights at the YC in June with 5 day park tickets (with a room only discount). We got our flights free with SW points (major score!) and we're planning on $2,000 for food and souvenirs. So about $6,000 total.

I have not booked it yet, but expect it to be $0.

Using Frequent flyer miles for two
Using Disney Visa reward points for the Resort room with dining plan (have never done the dining plan as we always figure it doesn't pay for us since we split meals, and usually just do two table service meals in a one week trip, but as I have the points, why not). Usually I save change all year and use that for my food which usually covers it)

I may have an expense if I rent a car as we like to go to that other park or the ocean for a day.

Just booked our Anniversary trip over the 4th of July weekend (6/30 - 7/6). it's hubby and I.

1 night @ Poly Lake View studio = Used DVC Points ($644 total per WDW website)
3 night Disney Dream cruise Veranda view = $2381
2 nights @ OKW 1 bedroom = Used DVC Points ($1118 total per WDW website)
2x 2-day park tickets (no park hoppers) = $408
Round Trip airfare from Austin = $648
Disney Transportation to Cruise (RT) = $138
Current Total = $3575

Anticipating about an additional $1000 for food, drink, tips, souvenirs, etc.

7 nights in a Nemo Suite @ AoA plus 7-day parkhopper tickets: $5670

Rough estimate for meals and snacks: $2,100 (breakfast in the room; buy water in the parks; eat at mostly QS locations but do have a dinner booked at CRT).
Illuminations cruise: ~$425 with tip
Souvenirs: ~$500
Travel: ~$500 (gas and 2 hotel nights)

DS will be joining me for our first deluxe trip.

7 nights at WL $2,752.88
My flights $229.40
5 day ticket $307.99 This is for me, purchased last winter before prices went up, form UCT
4 day ticket $311.84 This is for DS, purchased in last 2 weeks from AAA
Total $3602.11

Above is on me and does not include meals. DS may help some with that but I would estimate around $1300.
A far cry from trips that DH and I took between 2005 and 2011, some of which were free dining at value resorts and flights paid for with miles. These cost right around $1000.

For June.... we have about 2-3 different quotes we are considering.

Wilderness Lodge - ~$3,500.00
CSR / CBR - ~ $3,200.00
POP - ~ $2,900.00

Going to be a tough choice this year. We've been blessed to be able to consider several options this year but money is still money and we have never stayed Deluxe so not sure if it is worth it in terms of how much we would enjoy our week.

2,800. 3 of us. 6 nites, DP, 4 four day tickets.
throw in gas, extra eats there and back, souvenirs, another theme park down the road, and it will prolly be closer to 3,800 IF not more.

Luckily most of this was paid off before the CAD tanked completely. We also converted a large chunk of saving to USD so I'm calculating at 42% exchange, but it's more like 35% (I like to err on the side of caution)...

DCL Fantasy 8D - tips/
excursions/parking/photo package (- OBB & $250 OBC)
$6159.70

Souvenirs (our memories had better be our souvenirs at these prices :rotfl:)
$200
---------
$10,174.18 USD
$14,447.34 CAD
:faint:

Looking at a 9 night, 8 -9 day ticket for mid-Nov or early Dec.

Last time I figured it up, the trip would cost us about $6000 and that was without counting food. If we get free Dining, it stays the same. Otherwise, it's a very pricey increase. Of course, the big fee is flying out there. It will be about $2000. Should airfare fall due to the low price of oil, we might save an extra $250. Either way, we're looking at $6K+....which is why I haven't booked it yet. That sure is a lot of dough.
