Those using swagbucks ???

hmmm just popped over to the swagbucks facebook page. More than a few "visitor posts" by SB users disgruntled after the recent changes at swagbucks. Mainly the devaluation of several activities. Hope the "team" at swagbucks is listening!
 
I thought it was just my wifi and phone arguing as they generally do, but it is taking more videos on sbtv to get to the 2. I just say it say 6 more videos until 2 sb. I 'm pretty sure it was the 2nd video of this group, so it's 7 now instead of 5. That along with all the ads that keep playing is getting super annoying. At least all the videos are under 15 seconds. Thankful I don't mind the survey's, but if I don't get one it's super hard for me to get to my first goal.
 
Bc of what was being posted on facebook, I just popped over to the nCraves page. Wow! major devaluation! Maybe it's just a temporary thing... sometimes things go back to normal in the mornings..... let's hope!

Things change, ncrave points go down, ncraves disappear sooner. It's crunch time for those who use swagbucks for Christmas shopping with more people wanting to cash in.

On a side note, I've been running Perktv on my kindle all day and only had to click the "are you watching" thing 3 times today. Very odd but not complaining.

Thank You! This is exactly the kind of perspective I was hoping someone would post! Being a swagbuck user since only July, all I am seeing, over the past 4wks or so, is a steady decrease in my ability to earn and I'm thinking "oh goodness, swagbucks is heading toward shutting down!"
I'm so glad you posted this. It has me feeling hopeful!!
 
Now the surveys aren't crediting. I had to report one last night that said I completed it on the answer page and no info about it being delayed. I got the credit today from an adjustment but it doesn't count towards my goal which it should since it would have yesterday.

Then I did 2 this morning before work and the 2nd said it would take up to 10 min to credit and it's been over an hour and nothing. At least I can submit the screenshot when I get home but it's getting annoying.
 
Swagbucks is beyond slow for me today. The apps keep crashing, giving me "Server not reachable! Please check your internet connection." after every other video (but the ads load FINE!). The main site loads like I am on a 56K connection. Don't think I will even make the first goal today.
 
The ads are getting on my nerves. And all of your reasons are why I'm frustrated I've had another survey not credit, I would have met my goal already. I can't do stuff during the day so if I can get a quick survey or 2 done before work I'm happy. At least I only need 45 to hit my goal. I hope it starts working better for you today.
 
Can someone explain to me what the swag ups are? I checked on my account and I have one currently and had 2 that expired. What do you do with them?
 
Swag ups are credited when you redeem your points. Just using an example, maybe you got one for 100SB. When you cash in for a gift card, you get 100SB back in your account.
 
Do I have to do anything to get the swag up points to credit? I have one showing for 25 pts. If I redeem for a gift card, fo I need to do anything first to get those points?
 
It's 3 points per video for the first 300 points of the day (per account, not per phone) and then it's 2 points per video after that. It's not unusual for Live! to run out of video ads and then the earning stops. So, don't count on making that kind of money on an hourly basis. Perk can also be pretty strict about multiple accounts originating from the same IP. If your son is using your wi-fi, don't be surprised if Perk freezes both his and your accounts until you each provide them with a copy of your photo IDs to prove that you're "real people".

While I appreciate your "concern" about whether I have multiple accounts for my home, please don't assume anything about me or my family. My son does not live with me. Therefore having our account frozen and proving that we are real people has never been a concern. As far as how much we have been earning with Perk Live, it has been 3 points per video ALL DAY LONG without the video ads running out. It's so easy on these boards to point the finger and turn a question or comment into something negative.

These boards are a wealth of information in learning how to save money and enjoy your experience at WDW. But now I know why many times I refrain from sharing what I know.
 
In the "Discover Special Offers" section there is one on Arthritis. Mine said it was worth 50sb but after I completed it, it credited 75sb! Was easy and fast credit!
 
I've had SBTV running on my DD's iPhone for weeks, but it has been very glitchy lately....ads were "freezing" the ap which meant I had to keep a constant eye on it to make sure I'd get my SB's. I was getting 10-20/day because I just couldn't keep checking on it.

Today, it has been running non-stop! I have over 70SB's today and I haven't even looked at the phone:banana:.

Wow! Way to take offense when none was intended! I was trying to be helpful and you just bit back with venom. Hopefully someone else learned from the information that I offered instead of getting their panties in a wad over what was supposed to be an informative post.
