Already worked out a plan. Can't believe how few ADRs were still available, but usually I plan much earlier.

Saturday - Drive to resort. Arrive around 4:00 PM. May go to DTD to get TiW.
Sunday - Mass. Enjoy resort. Boma ADR @ 4:30 PM. Watch animals. TOTWL for Wishes.
Monday - MNSSHP. Columbia Harbour House Dinner.
Tues - Drive to Vero Beach Resort.
Wed - Thurs - Enjoy the beach.
Fri - Drive home.

Turns out... No, even if i had had more it wouldn't have been enough.
I got up early this morning to make breakfast and they were sprawled out all over the living room. I fed them chocolate chip waffles thinking they would be going home in a couple hours then I found out they are staying so I can take them to the pool. I think I must have been horrible in a previous life and am being punished for it now.

Yeah... you may just have been horrible at least once, given that bit of karma.
Hope you survived day two.

I married well. DW came up with a plan to get back to WDW this Fall Break. I did all the transactions and we are good.

Sat - Tues at the All Star Movies Resort. This is the last of the value resorts we have yet to stay in, so it marks off yet another accomplishment. We'll make a MNNSHP as well. Then, onto Disney's Vero Beach Resort for only 19 borrowed points. It is a cost neutral trip. We were already going to Orange Beach, and the price difference is offset by our Disney Visa Rewards. Even better, that TiW Card will SAVE me money on all the food and alcohol I plan to consume.

I'd say all is very good.

Morning guys. Already checked off some things on the to do list and we are heading to the Keys this afternoon. The quest is to buy some fresh lobster tails. I will be eating them and the kid will be clipping the tails for a research paper for school.

Dolphins' first team looked good last night so there is a sense of optimism here. Hey Mark, by the end of the season, the Marlins will grab the worst team title from the Phillies. They lost 2 of 3 here at home. And Danny got the crap knocked out of him by windshear. He is turning toward us and if it stays as predicted, we will get a needed rain event. All in all, a good day here.

Since I usually don't an anything this late, it was a bit surprising to view those limited options. I narrowed it down between Raglan Road and Boma, although most of the restaurants were open at the Boardwalk area. I've figured out how to make the best of resort days.

Top O the Morning Dads! Have been holding off talking about this for fear of putting the hex on them, but how about them Cubs! Though they are increasing their lead for a wild card spot, they do have the fourth best record in baseball. They have 4 rookies in their line-up so looks like they could actually be a real baseball team for a few years to come.

Operation "Secure Lobster Bits" was a success. We had a good day. Visited some of my regular spots and found a new one in Marathon. It basically is a staging/storage area for lobster fishermen. Interesting to see all the pots stacked up on pallets. If you are into fish, they come off the boat and go right to the kitchen. Four tails minus some clippings are in the freezer and the heads are discarded. Well, after she dissected one of them. "Dad, you want to see the gills?" No, I want to see melted butter and a cooked lobster tail on a plate.

First day of school here so I am avoiding the roads until later. Today we start to empty out the storage unit. Plus she has to see the doc again and get an X-Ray because the lungs are still an issue. Hopefully she gets the all clear and can start working out again.

Good Monday morning. Get to stay in town this week, which is a real good thing. The dds and I walked to the Dairy Queen about 1.5 miles one way yesterday, and I tried the Rolo blizzard. It was really good.

I didn't realize the "Dues" were so much. I might be able to spare a dole whip or a Mickey Ice Cream (It'll be tough though), but beer and bacon, I dunno.... That stuff is quite valuable! I mean I have to have my bacon wrapped bacon, smothered in bacon with a side of bacon and of course a beer or three to wash it down.

I guess I could spare a little bit though.

Just realized on this date in 1992, Hurricane Andrew hit my house. We were on vacation in San Fransisco when it popped up and then came ashore. What an surreal experience it was sitting in our hotel in San Fran. watching what footage they had of the damage. Lost two large Florida pines and a few smaller trees that all happened to fall perfectly to miss anything important including the house and cars. One window broke, the back fence was smashed and the carport was nowhere to be seen. Friends lost homes so we were lucky. We went without power for almost a month. I can tell you from experience Florida sucks without AC.

What an surreal experience it was sitting in our hotel in San Fran. watching what footage they had of the damage. Lost two large Florida pines and a few smaller trees that all happened to fall perfectly to miss anything important including the house and cars. One window broke, the back fence was smashed and the carport was nowhere to be seen. Friends lost homes so we were lucky. We went without power for almost a month. I can tell you from experience Florida sucks without AC.

It was kind of surreal when it happened. Today is my birthday and I still remember the news reports on the radio that day.
