The Irish are going to Disneyland.

News news news... Momma and I were talking bout trips and tours (again.) Park hours have started appearing for our trip and 3 of our Disney days the parks are going to be open til 11 or midnight. With that in mind we reckon that we don't need the holiday time tour because we would be able to take the time to wait for the parade once or twice in the trip and get on the rides early some days and all we'd really gain is a mug and pin maybe sooooooo the new plan is the day before we fly home I'm going to do Walk in Walt's footsteps on my lonesome while Momma stays in the hotel to sleep and pack without me bugging her (she says I talk to much when she's packing :rotfl: )

Well that's the plan for now at least... until i change my mind again and book them both or something :rotfl:

Okay...I just finished the book! Oh my goodness! Now I'm going to have to buy the next book & start reading tonight. Wow! What a page turner! I might as well buy the rest of the series! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

You definately need to buy them all. They're addictive and you can't stop at one or two :thumbsup2

I am so glad that you get to do the A Walk In Walt's Footsteps Tour.

Actually, it is less than that. For some reason I only did a ticker for Aulani. We are leaving for Disneyland 4 weeks from today.

Yes, it is 30 days in advance. I called yesterday for a tour on 11th November and I have to call again on the 27th for the holiday tour which I am planning to do the day before Thanksgiving.

It's so exciting... Time seems to be going so slowly at the moment though and yet so quickly at the same time. :goodvibes

For me times seems to be racing. I can't believe every time a Monday comes around and I am another week closer to the trip. I suppose part of this is because this is my "silly season" that combines the end of a quarter with the end of our appraisal cycle so October is always extremely busy.

Corinna

Today these arrived:

The Minnie mouse ribbons are smaller than the other ones because I like wearing pigtails in the parks so they can go in the pigtails :goodvibes
Also got my voucher for photopass.

I said to Momma the other day I'm watching a Disney movie a day until disney and it was only 30 something days to go... next thing I know she has the case out of the attic and is throwing stuff in it for Disney. I thought I was bad :rotfl:

That sounds like a wonderful plan!
Thanks. Hopefully I get a place on a tour now. It's definately a good idea to leave Momma alone to pack :rotfl:

Some days fly by others drag.. I think this week is dragging because I've 5 days in a row off work not that that's a bad thing but I'm loosing track of what day it is :rotfl:

I like the new plan.

Love the ribbons.

:rotfl::rotfl: momma throwing things in the suitcase.

Thanks and yeah I thought that was funny. She was picking out her outfits and asking which adapter plug we needed and stuff like that.

Opinions please. These are two of the tours I'm thinking of doing on the non disney day but I keep hesitating when I go to book. There is a tiny bit of cross over with them but I do like the sound of both.

You'll Start your tour with a 25 minute guided walking tour on the world famous Rodeo Drive to see the stores where the rich and famous shop including Bijan, Gucci, Prada, Harry Winston Jewelers, and the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel featured in "Pretty Woman". Celebrities are constantly moving in and out of the neighborhood, so bring your camera... you never know who you might see!

You'll go into the lobby of the "Pretty Woman Hotel" with your tour guide and he'll snap your photo in this amazing hotel lobby!

Then, we head to see many Celebrity Homes on our way to Greystone Manor - an incredible Estate (now a public Park) that is an amazing example of a real Beverly Hills Mansion. This is the site of numerous movies including National Treasure, X-Men, Spider Man, There Will be Blood, Rush Hour and more!

On the way into Hollywood, you'll cruise the Sunset Strip and see such infamous locales as The Whiskey A Go Go, Johnny Depp's notorious Viper Room, The House of Blues, the Roxy, The Chateau Marmont, and more!

Then our Lunch Stop is at the Carney's on the Sunset Strip! Home of "Probably the Best Hamburgers and Hot Dogs in the World! Since 1975". This world famous Landmark is a favorite of Locals and Celebrities, alike - Also... Sheldon's FAVORITE restaurant from the TV Show The Big Bang Theory!

From there, it's off to the Chinese Theater, where you'll have about 30 minutes to check the shoe sizes of many stars as you enjoy the forecourt with all the handprints and footprints in cement! Also, stroll the World Famous Walk of Fame, check out the Dolby Theater (home of the Academy Awards) and more.

Then, we go to the scenic overlook above Lake Hollywood and get up-close to the World Famous Hollywood Sign with views all the way to the Pacific! This is an amazing spot where you will be just about as close as you can get to this amazing Landmark!

Then, we continue on to Warner Brothers Studios! Because nothing is staged, this is real Hollywood at work, there is no telling what, or who, lucky visitors might encounter.

No Maps To The Stars Homes necessary here. Guests are frequently allowed to stand within inches of the action.

Visitors also have an opportunity to explore Hollywood's only studio museum. This remarkable collection of memorabilia from the Studio's rich and celebrated history offers guests an intimate look at the original costumes, props, sets, scripts and correspondence from countless Warner Bros. Studios films and television shows -- materials not before seen by the general public.

Then, after a drive through or around Griffith Park, we finish our tour with an indepth look at Downtown Los Angeles. This includes visits to the Biltmore Hotel, site of many movie shoots as well and the site of the Academy Awards for many years through Hollywood's Golden Age as well as a stop to Ride the Elevators at the Bonaventure Hotel (True Lies, In the Nick of Time, In the Line of Fire and more)!

How long do both tours last? I like the 2nd tour because it includes a lot of things that I think you'd appreciate. However, the 2nd one looks like a LOT of stuff (not sure if you'll be so pooped out tired afterwards!). I vote for the 2nd one if you think your mother can manage all the walking and stops. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure how long the 2nd one is. It seems to only stop at the places with the * though. I think other than that we stay on the bus and just drive around LA.

We're thinking of doing both of them on two different days. The 1st one says you'll be back in your hotel at 6pm so it might be long but you've the whole evening to rest then.

I like the sounds of the first one. :thumbsup2
I like the second one regardless of cross over. I like the way that's in a smaller bus though so if can bring you closer to stuff like the Hollywood sign for better pictures.

I had to sleep on this. I would go for the first tour as this has some scenic elements as well as the typical tourist highlights.

We did this tour a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it:

I was looking at the graylineanaheim website before. The 2nd one up there was with starline tours and I think it's similar to what grayline offer except starline don't have the beach and are cheaper for the LA bit. We're thinking of doing both of them I just keep hestitating when I go to book them for some reason. (damn anxiety!)

your TICKETS and/or TOUR VOUCHERS you have purchased will be delivered DIRECTLY to your Hotel ont he day of your arrival. You will not reveive anything in the mail, however you will receive email notifications of your order process and confirmation

I so don't trust this. I've read reviews on tripadvisor about this tour company and they're all good so maybe it's just my anxiety but I would prefere to have my ticket or something more than confirmation in my email.

Anyone ever done a tour with the anaheimtourcompany before?

I have booked independent tours and excursions in a variety of places in the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean and never had anything more than an email confirmation. I never had any problems.

Corinna

Eh this time next month I should be on the second flight heading to LAX :cool1:

Well I booked it last night after and they sent me the voucher to my email today so I guess that was wrong on their website... Some of the website looks like it hasn't been updated in a while so maybe that's why :confused3
