Favorite character meal

Just wondering what everyone's favorite character meal is and why? Thanks

We really enjoyed Akerhus Storybook Breakfast in Norway @ Epcot. Perhaps it was because we were the first seating or because it was a really rainy morning that may have kept some away... but, it wasn't crowded so my kids enjoyed great interaction time with all of the princesses (Belle, Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, & Cinderella). The breakfast food was top-notch, too.
FYI... Next spring, we are going to try CRT for early breakfast (pre-park opening ADR in order to get photos of family in front of castle with no crowds around). I have never dined in the Castle before & am really looking forward to that experience! princess:

Chef Mickey's. Loved the character interaction (as an adult with no kids)...and I'm always a fan of the food, breakfast or dinner. Would love to do CRT sometime, just never made it a priority.

I have to agree with the others. The 1900 Park Fare dinner was our favorite on our last trip! We also enjoyed Akershus princess breakfast in Norway as well.

We like the Garden Grill. We like the food choices, the restaurant rotates, you can see Mickey, and you can see Living with the Land ride as you rotate.

I like different experiences for different reasons.

Chef Mickey - As my sons first breakfast on our first trip. Just nice to see the "main" characters all at once.

Pre Park - Crystal Palace. I would only book this again if I could get pre park, but it was a great experience!

Favorite once in a lifetime - CRT dinner.

Favorite overall - 1900 Park Fare breakfast. Mad Hatter - funniest character ever! And his interaction with proper Alice and Mary Poppins had us laughing SO hard. If I were to ever pay out of pocket for a character meal it would be this. The dinner would be a close second.

Guess this shows the differences in people, 1900 PF was our least favorite. Our Prince Charming was... well, not charming. I just felt packed in there.

Our faves were CRT and CM. CRT was a neat experience, CM had great interaction (and for some reason seemed like it took a lot less time than the others, even though we had to wait for a table). Tigger at CP was great too.

We've always had a soft spot for the Pooh characters at CP. And the food doesn't suck at lunch or dinner.

Ours is really based on park day. We love doing an early breakfast ADRs and our favorites are

Crystal Palace on MK day
Tuskers on AK day
H&V on HS day
we have three boys (5,11,13) so princess dining isn't on our to do list but the one time we tried to get Arkushus breakfast it would never become available.

If we have a non-park day it is Ohana all the way. we love stitch :)

For Breakfast we really enjoy Tusker House, as we love atmosphere and seeing Mickey/goofy

For dinner, 1900 Park Fare as the characters so entertaining and we like the atmosphere there as well

I love Chef Mickey's for the classic costumed characters. We went to dinner at 1900 for the first time last week and now I have to put that up at the top of my list as well. The interactions between the stepsisters and my kids were hilarious. The food was great and the GF is relaxing to walk around.

Tusker House is my favourite of the ones we've tried. The characters were good and I liked that they had some different items on the buffet.

We've done all of them (some several times) except for Akershus and based on our experience, our favourite is definitely Garden Grill. The character interaction there is far and above the best and I like that it's served family style and not a buffet. Honourable mentions to Ohana breakfast (again family style), the I love their sausasage & Crystal Palace breakfast (something magical about a pre-opening ADR at CP overlooking the castle and who doesn't love Pooh & friends?)

We have never really been into character dining - I mean, it isn't a priority, not that we avoid it. But, we are surprising my kids in the spring with a trip - happens to fall on my son's birthday. He LOVES Pluto...so I was thinking of getting a reservation somewhere so he could see him..

I think there are a handful of places. Anyone suggest one over the other?

I'm pretty sure that Pluto is only at Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill. I'd go with CM for breakfast or GG for dinner..

Tusker House breakfast hands down best food at a character buffet. Characters spent a lot of time with my kids. And did I mention the food was great.
