**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Great thread!! I read through most of it, but didn't find an answer to my question. My apologies if I just missed it. When picking up tickets for the Singalong outside the Premier theater, do you need to bring magic bands of all your family members, or can you just tell the CM how many tickets you need (without the magic bands)?

No mb needed. I've read reports of both. Most people have not needed all members of their party. A couple others reported needing everyone present to get the tickets.

wmoon - it's like you read my mind. I was just about to ask if someone had experience with the 9 pm Fantasmic show and still getting out in enough time to catch the fireworks. Obviously choices have to be made, but after watching several videos of the stage show, I would prefer to have a better view of the fireworks especially since we have several M&G in MK scheduled. Is it safe to assume that you could hear the Fireworks / Frozen soundtrack no problem? Can I ask how you departed out of Fantasmic and where you stopped to watch the show? Thanks!

No problem at all hearing the soundtrack, apart from my awful singing rising above it!

The fireworks view was great it was only the stage we couldn't see. Leaving Fantasmic the way we went in, the turnstiles were blocked for 10.30 show so we had no other place to go other than follow everyone else, we came our the back of tower of terror and once we were down that street there were cast member advising this way for frozen, this way to exit.. Hope that helps.

I'm getting so excited for our "Frozen" day of fun - we are doing the premium package on the 21st (those desserts look amazing!) - we are planning to really only focus on the "Frozen" things the day that we are there (with a midday resort break) - our plan is to go to Oaken's Trading Post right at RD (9am) - do you think that we will be able to get in right away or is there still a long wait there? And then going to Min and Bill's at 9:45am to check-in? We are hoping for tickets to the first sing-along show - thoughts?

I've made a map that indicates where to view the DHS Frozen Fireworks from outside DHS.

Better views are along the (purple) pathway inside the area that I shaded in green on the map below.

The bottom green arrow points to the approximate spot
where the "outside-the-park" fireworks on THIS WDWMagic video (@ approx. 6:30) were shot.

This is probably in the thread somewhere......but what time do they start giving out sing along tickets in the morning, and what is the first show time?

Another question.....how long are the fireworks? We have a FP+ for ToT good from 9:00 to 10:00, on a night with evening EMH. Wondering if we will have time to watch the 9:45 fireworks and immediately head to ToT to use our FP+ after the fireworks.

Awesome map, Robo! (As usual!! ;) )

I wanted to share something funny!! I was reading through this thread last night shortly before I fell asleep and I had a very vivid dream that I was shopping for Frozen merchandise! I woke up and thought (for a second) that I was at WDW :)

So here's my dilemma...

We bought the Premium Package for July 27 because DD8 and DD4 love Frozen (naturally) and because DH and I are terrible at finding spots for parades and fireworks. We also have BBB booked for both girls during our trip and Behind the Seeds Tour. I really don't want to pay for all three, so something would have to go.

After a lot of reading, I think we would be OK to cancel the Premium Package? We have FP+ for TSM from 9-10 and Hollywood and Vine booked for noon (I may move that to 11:30). Would this sound right (if I cancel the package): go find a parade spot around 10:30 (any recs where), go to lunch, then go get a pass for the Sing-A-Long (how long is the line to get that and is that too late to go) and maybe hit Wandering Oaken's before our show time and set up near Echo Lake for fireworks?

And yes, I've read the thread, but it just makes my decision even tougher! Haha.:rotfl:

Thoughts? Suggestions? HELP!! I know my fellow Disers can help steer me in the right direction -- we are leaning toward canceling the Premium Package, FYI.

TIA!
:goodvibes

For the sing along, if you get there early enough, can you get tickets to any show you want? Meaning you can go there at 9 to get tickets for the 1:30 show?

Tickets are distributed at park opening in the Green Umbrella/queue area. The first show is 12:30. See the 1st POST in this thread for all show times - lovethattink has posted all the pertinent info.

Yes, it will work. But, on your way to TSMM, stop by the Premiere Theater to pick up the tickets for the Sing-Along. It appears they are allowing guests to choose specific showtimes. If they don't allow it when you are there (it may depend on crowd-level), the CM should be able to tell you which time to return for specific shows.

A more specific related question -> Do they give out tickets for your choice of show and thus all shows have their tickets available first thing in the morning?

The reason I am asking is that our only DHS day is our arrival day so we were not planning to get to the park until mid-afternoon ... does this mean that all the tickets will likely be gone by the time we get there and we will be unable to do this?

Thanks!

It will just be dependent upon what Management decides... everything continues to be tweaked and it may depend on crowd-level, weekday versus weekend, etc.

If it is for specific shows with tickets given out in the order of the shows, then there would be tickets available for later shows.

If it is for a show of your choice, it is difficult to say if later showtimes will be available. Most guests choose headliner rides early in the day and then fit in shows as their day winds down. But, I'm sure families with Frozen fans are choosing earlier shows and then possibly returning for a later show. Sorry, not much help!

That is so helpful!!
