YES! This pre-trip report/planning report offers you more than one trip.
A trip to DLRP in January
A trip to WDW and a 4 night cruise on the Disney DREAM in February
Hopefully a trip to Italy (and Venice) for a long weekend in May
A trip to Barcelona and a 12 night cruise on the Disney MAGIC, followed by a 9 night trip to DLRP in July and August
So, who is going .
There is Tom, my DB and lover of all things Disney. He works for the Austrian Postal services as a mailman and is a self-taught computer whiz.
Like myself he got bitten by the cruise bug when I requested we go on a once in a lifetime cruise in 2009. Even though we had a bad start, when we could not find the port because of a downpour of epic proportions, but when we finally made it onto the ship we were sold. By day 2 we were rebooked. These two cruises will be cruises no 13 and 14 for us, with cruise no 15 already booked and a dummy booking for summer of 2015.
He loves TinkerBell and Donald and lets me plan all our Disney (and other) trips.
I am Karin, a teacher with a passion for all things Disney. I teach English in a country school, about 20 miles from where I live.
I fell in love with Disney parks on our first trip to the US, when we went to California in 1992. We visited DL and I fell in love with it. Ever since most of our trips have included a Disney park.
We bought into DVC in 2011 and have been known to hold APs for Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World for several years.
On to the more important things our planned trips for 2014!
Trip 1 will see us flying to Paris in under two weeks, staying at the hotel New York for three nights. We will be able to catch the tail end of the Christmas season and be able to see the Christmas version of Disney Dreams.
Trip 2 will see us fly to the US in mid-February. We will be back here in Austria on day 9 of the trip, which will include a night at the Villas at the Great Floridian and two nights at Old Key West and a 4 night cruise on the Disney Magic.
Trip 3 will hopefully be in May and see us go to Italy (and Venice) for a long weekend. Venice is just a 6 to 7 hour drive from where we live and things have not been confirmed yet, but I really hope we can pull it off.
Trip 4 is our annual summer trip. This year it will be split into two parts.
Part one will see us fly to Barcelona and spend a few nights exploring the city before our cruise. We are going on a 12 night cruise in the Mediterranean which includes stops in France, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Malta.
After the cruise we will spend one more night in Barcelona before flying home to do some laundry and repacking.
And after 3 days at home we will fly to Paris to spend 9 nights/10 days at Disneyland Paris.
