Disney Cruise Brides!!! Part Deux!!

I am having a vow renewal at CC in Feb and am struggling with the photo packages. Anyone willing to share their pics from their sessions so I have some idea...I want to know I'm going to get my monies worth.

Consider David and Vicki Arndt. They can be found with a simple google search and have great rates...
We are using them for our January CC wedding...

I just got off the Wonder and the DCL photographer I previously had, Mikey, is now on the Dream. I'd recommend him to anyone that is going to use a cruise photographer.

Your pictures are really nice. I would be so worried using Disney with photography because I have seen so many bad pics though.

Does anyone know how I can join the DisCruiseBrides group on FB? Someone tried adding me but nothing yet. :(

Howdy all! I've been reading lots, but not saying much! My DF and I are getting married on the Wonder the week of July 28, 2014.

I've cruised on the Magic five times, and this past summer we went on the Fantasy for my birthday. (It was his first cruise and my first on one of the new ships.)

Even though the Fantasy is beautiful, I'm excited to have the wedding on one of the classic ships, though I've never been on the Wonder. Luckily, the Wonder is docked in Galveston (a hop, skip, and jump away from Houston!) and we will be taking a short cruise a few days after Christmas. I'm hoping to scope out venues and have a better idea of where our ceremony might be held. (Since we will be in Alaska, I'm not sure if it will be held outside.)

I've seen lots of pictures on Castaway Cay, but not too many from ceremonies on the ship.

I wasn't really freaking out about planning until this week. I'm a teacher and on break for Thanksgiving. I started looking at dresses yesterday and today I was really reading the blogs.

I'm such a slacker! I don't even know where to begin!

Anyway, I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving!

P.S. I tried searching for DisCruiseBrides on FB, but no such luck!

There was a Disbride that got married on the Alaskan cruise! She was also featured on Carrie's Disney wedding podcast

I hope this helps. I know that the admin is very busy getting ready for her wedding so put in a request. If it is taking a long time to get accepted let me know I will try to put in a request to someone to add you.

The first link for DisCruiseBrides didn't work, not sure why. The second link was a success, thanks for the invite!

Hi Aggie
I remember seeing pictures on deck 7 for an Alaska wedding. They had beautiful photos, amazing backdrop. I'm only just looking at dresses myself I'm also a teacher so not had much time to look. My wedding is only just after yours. Anyway welcome to the group.

Thanks! I'm wondering how cold it will be on Deck 7!

I ordered my dress on Sunday night. It was half off of the sale price and then another 10% off! I just hope it fits come next summer!

What ship are you sailing for your wedding?

We have just 13 days until Christmas vacation!

Hi Aggie,

I'm the bride that got married in Alaska this year in August. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. It was a beautiful place and you will have an amazing time!

My wedding on the Disney Dream is coming up in 5 months. I was wondering if during the reception allows time for a best man speech as well a maid of honor. Along with that, is there a time where the first dance and father and daughter dance.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Hello fellow Disney Brides,
I had a quick question does anybody by any chance know how many packages you can ship to the ship or how big they can be? Any information is appericated!

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any information if DFTW are still offering weddings aboard the newly re-imagined Disney Magic during its European cruises? I know these weddings have happened before but now the website doesn't list any available wedding venues on the magic. Does anyone know what's going on? Many thanks, Lauren

I noticed that the magic is missing from the web page too. Odd. I'm interested in the answer as well.

Music

Will the pianist learn your songs? Or is it one of those things where if your song isn't on the playlist you just have to bring an iPod/cd?
