So anyone arriving today going to test if photopass can be linked to the magicbands? The new website seems to imply it rolls out today.

I see they have added 15 days to the 30 and 45 day timelines, now 45 and 60 days.

Our Expiration Policy Has Changed

Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos and attraction photos in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.

If you would like to extend the expiration date to 60 days from the date the photo was taken, you may purchase an expiration extension. All photos in your account as of the day the expiration extension is purchased will now expire 60 days from the date the photo was taken (instead of 45 days). Expiration dates of photos may only be extended once.

My DisneyPhotoPass.com does not offer options for permanent storing of photos. Expired photos will be deleted from the system.

Thanks for posting this. Should be an interesting change.

Not happy about the 45 day thing, though.:(

Wow- just looked over the website.

Not happy about losing all the editing time. Now it is 45 days from the date the photo is taken, not 30 days to claim and 30 days to edit after that. Plus, there is only one 15 day extension allowed.

But what I also noticed on the products page is there no longer appears to be any choice of photopass or photopass+ CD. They now only have a single "photopass" CD listed and it is priced at $169. In their FAQs they do still talk about both, so maybe they just haven't completed the product page and the website isn't finalized yet?

I see they have added 15 days to the 30 and 45 day timelines, now 45 and 60 days.

No, it looks like they have taken away 15 days. You used to be able to claim them up to 30 days out and then have 30 days to play and order your cd. Now you have 45 days from the first swipe of the card, but you can add 15 days if you need, but you have to pay.

Yes, I saw that from stitchkingdom this morning. It's just 45 days total, from the time the first picture is taken. :(

Just yesterday, I ordered the Pre-arrival Photopass+ offer for $149 from the old website. I am assuming that when I arrive at the park, I link the Photopass+ and the regular card on to this new website. I just realized what the 45 day is all about, not very happy as this would give us even a shorter period to edit and order the cd after the trip. C'mon Disney, surely you can in this age of 'clouds' give us more time to relive memories from our trips to your parks.

I like the new 45 day timeframe much better! For people who like to see their photos each day while on property, this extends the editing time. This will negatively affect people doing shares the most, which is smart on Disney's part. Hopefully the new site will work much better than the old one, and hopefully the rollout of more magic shots started today (or at least soon), too. :goodvibes

I sent a question to them through the Contact Us link. I preordered my photopass CD last week on the old website and I want to know the protocol for redeeming that pre-order. I will post back what I get from them. Not too worried about it...they have to have some plan for this type of situation.

Interested to see what you hear back. We also pre-ordered photopass plus cd last week.

Yes I would love to know too! I do have a question, I currently have MB for our coming trip, will my PP+ now be linked to my bands or is not available yet?

I just got off the phone with them. Your pre purchased photo pass should move over on its own but if not give them a call and they can transfer it for you.

She also said they were sent emails this morning with lots of links that are not up on the website yet.

This is the new site to preorder...

She said we would still need to pick up photopass cards and link the number when I asked if they would be able to scan our KTTW card.
