Free Dining Oct-Dec Is Here!!

What do you guys think about requesting a room in the "home run" end of Sports, then walking over to Music for food? Seems doable to me.

EDIT: Oops, wrong thread, sorry!

Thanks :) If we did stay at POR i think we would like to stay at the mansion buildings, if CBR Jamaica or Aruba, what are the odds on Room requests, just depend on availability? Anyone know where the Pirate rooms are at CBR. Not that we want one, just wondering. We just really wouldn't want to be at Trinidad South. Still torn where to go with option 2 behind POFQ.

Also does CBR have queen beds now?

Thanks for your thought really appreciated!!

We've stayed at CBR many times and our requests for a particular village have always been granted. The pirate rooms are all located in Trinidad South so unless you specifically book a pirate room, Trinidad South is the one village you won't be placed in. **Edited to add: The entire Trinidad North village is preferred as are Martinique buildings 24, 25 & 26.

The CBR is supposed to undergo a refurb at the start of 2014 but there's no specific schedule set yet.

Holiday world is alot of fun. Have only been once this year though. We'll try to go again next month or as soon as this crazy weather makes up it's mind what it wants to do.....one day it's 70 and the next it's 90.

We went last week. Regular park was great. Water park was crazy crowded. We needed fastpasses! I live just south of Nashville.

You and me both since switching up is out of the question financially right now and POR R is our only choice for a family of 5.
Good luck!
If not, as I said, I'll retry for February.

What about Coronado Springs as a fallback? It looks like you can get a rollaway bed for an extra $15 a night.

Thank you, thank you, thank you....to all who shared information about the PIN codes. I have never received one but your posts led me to calling to ask about it. There was nothing attached to my name, my husband's name, my son's name, or my daughter in law, but she found one for my godson who is going on the trip with us. Whoop-Whoop! The only problem was that we were booked at All Star Movies and there were no FD rooms left, but she switched us to All Star Music and we're all set. 47 minutes on the phone, but well worth it!! :woohoo:

Congratulations on the great news!

I love CBR and my personal favorite village is Martinique. A quick walk to OPR and the 3rd bus stop which makes getting on during peak times great. I've also stayed in Barbados as this is the 2nd bus stop. Was about a 5 min walk to OPR...still not bad and its not considered "Preferred" so no upcharge for the room. CBR is great though and everytime I've stayed there I've made a village request and it was always honored.

Other than the post from Chip & Co., have we seen anything else that mentions all those strange resort inclusions on the FD like POFQ and the GF? Seems strange to me. There is availability in all room categories at POFQ for Thanksgiving week (assuming you check in on the 23rd to qualify for free dining). I would think this would be one of the busier weeks. Hoping POFQ isn't excluded...

No we haven't. Which is why I said to just call and ask for your first choice.

Remember too that during this entire time, there have been PIN codes floating out there, and they continue to book. It is entirely possible and within reason that some of these resorts have booked their allotted availability with the PIN codes.

Not just that Joe....some of us....myself included...we're given free dining after calling...and from what I understand....they are being more lenient on the pin usages....

What bus stop is Jamaica? That is where we requested for now.

While the anticipation and wondering is SORT of fun....Thursday cannot come soon enough! FD is all I can think about this week, and this day is moving at a snail's pace! :snail: :snail: :snail: :snail: :snail: :snail: :snail:

We are getting close to the limit on this thread in about 15 or so more pages. I'll probably start a part two tonight and post the link. Once it hits 250 it gets shut down.

It all depends on what entrance the buses use. If they use the side entrance, Jamaica will be the first stop followed by Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North and Trinidad South. If they use the front entrance, the first stop will be Martinique followed by Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, Aruba and Barbados.

I believe the majority of the routes all use the side entrance. The AK and TL routes come in the front typically.
