Chip and Co. has posted "breaking news" about the deal on their Facebook page and website. They are confirming Thursday, but they have a book by date of Sept. 15??? That is way too short. I told them the foreign markets show the date as Nov 15. They also have a crazy list of excluded resorts for the FD deal.

Crap ~ they're saying POFQ is excluded from fd. I know nothing is concrete until (hopefully) Thursday but it might be on to Plan B for us ~ POR.

What good is the Disney Visa? I used to get 3X or 5X bonus rewards - no more. I used to get a jump on Disney discounts - that seems to be a thing of the past too.

The only good thing about it anymore is I smile when I see the Cinderella castle graphic on the card when I open my wallet......

DH an I grew up 10 minutes from Louisvile. We both went to Floyd Central.


Wow, there are alot of us Hoosiers on the boards. It IS a small world after all. Floyd Central is a great school and the main reason we moved "up the hill to the knobs"

I would have a back up plan just in case, but their info seems way off. They asked me if the November book by date was for both offers, and I told them yes, so I'll be curious to see if they update it.

All Star Movies
Art of Animation
Port Orleans French Quarter
Grand Floridian

Take this with a big grain of salt...however, it's entirely possible that these resorts are simply just booked up, which would certainly remove their free dining availability.

With the room only, they only show Mermaid Rooms and Riverside (which I find strange).

I saw this as well. =( going to backup plan B! Which I know my husband will be happy! Did not want to spend the money to upgrade... oh well!

I would be surprised if they blocked all those resorts for the entire fall promo. And no RO discount at POR makes no sense, it is huge and I am sure they need to fill rooms. We will find out soon enough! No POFQ means I will have to move on to plans B, C, D, or E and 3 of those are split stays! Or do a split stay POFQ and Swan with no discount.

I meant their "room block" they set aside for these promos. If the resort is booked at a certain level, that would be reason enough to say "we're out of free dining availability".

We gave our TA our rankings of mods incase we can't keep POFQ if FD comes out for nov. will be a little sad if we can't keep FQ but would be happy to change if it meant we got FD !!!
