NOVEMBER 2012 Trip Planners Thread~ Everybody is Welcome~Part 3 already!

oh why oh why do I torture myself . . .

We are driving so we intent to use our car not the buses . . . so just for kicks cause we dont care where we stay as far as getting to things easier . . . If I switch from AoA to CBR I will save $1000.00 I wont have to upgrade from QS to DDP because that comes with the room. The room is close to $110 cheaper and comes with the upgraded DDP at no extra charge. I know I know AoA is a suite, and CBR has full size beds not queen, and the kids are just dying for the Lion King room but wow that is significate savings.

If I were you, I wouldn't change to CBR, I have a sneaking suspicion that PW will be using CBR as their moderate of choice this year. Just did a search and they have blocked out all standard rooms. Like MOMMYOF3PRINCESS, I would suggest any of the PO resorts if you wanted a mod.

Pop Warner- the youth football tournament that descends on WDW every early December.

We can only hope! I actually had a CM look into it for me a couple of months ago, but couldn't say anything conclusive. But even then CBR had no standard rooms available and that was back in late April early May(?) before FD was announced! So, let's keep our collective fingers crossed!!

Football? why would you not stay at all star sports that would make more sence. Oh well my dates are Nov 9 to the 17 so if they come in early dec then we wont be there at that time

Im not sure $1000 is worth the consiquences I would have to deal with that would come from switching the kids from the beloved Lion King room. And I just talked to the MR and he said it wasnt worth it to him he wants the suite.

well they do have a value but some of the overflow goes to a mod and since POR didnt have too many blocked out rooms but CBR did...im thinking they will stay there

really need to stop shopping...but minnie pjs,chip and dale shirt (for garden grill),pasquel plush,perry plush,ariel plush, and wedding rapunzel and thats just today. her suitcase is mostly full

I'm back. My computer is fixed and working great.
Went and spent the weekend with my sister. She is only about an hour from Disney. It was kind of hard to be that close and not go. Very, very ready for Nov to get here.

Did you see the Disney pillow pets? My husband came home from Target and told me he saw them there. He showed me them online. They are cute.

He really is a closet Disney fan

My kids love the Disney squinkies. And there are a bunch of new ones out.

I'm getting more excited about this trip each day! Making a list of what I need to buy from the store:

-pop up laundry hamper
-disposable rain ponchos
-hanging shoe rack pocket holder thingy for the bathroom/vanity area
-pocket size hand sanitizer
-inexpensive power strip
-retractable Sharpies for autographs
-night light for hotel room
-lanyards w/clear pockets for holding our KTTW cards
-ibuprofin, cold meds, bandaids, etc
-lightup necklaces/bracelets for after dark fun
-breakfast foods for the room

Oh my gosh, how do you do that? Why would you do that? Not even for an afternoon? We live so far in the middle of nowhere that we travel an hour just to get to good stores. Much less Disney!!! Oh my gosh.

I found out today a lady in my sunday school class is going to Florida on Saturday. I asked her daughter if I could go in her suitcase. They aren't going to Disney however. They are planning to go to SeaWorld and the beach. I don't care as long as I get to go....

Well, I took my DD and my 2 daughters to be and it was a very full weekend as it was. Just no time. But we had such a good time.

Sorry you are sitting there in shock. Besides it was awesome will power practice. It just added to the excitement of waiting for Nov.
