Most Expensive / Moist Exhausting Continued - Final thoughts and wrap-up

Well, if it's the trip I see in your signature, to Malta, that sounds like a fabulous trip! It's so far from here that it doesn't even seem like a possibility to go there, so I wouldn't even think of it. But I think it would be an amazing place to visit and explore. So yes, enjoy that trip and then come back and start to slowly reveal your Disney plans to your family. You don't have to tell them that you've been hatching them for some time. That'll be our little secret.

Will you be writing a Pre-Trip Report?

Living in rain soaked England does have it's benefits, namely a central position in the Western world and some good Ciders. :lmao:

Regards to the pre-trip report, you make an intresting proposition. I have never done anything like that before, but a pre-trip report does sound interesting... more research (read: reading trip reports) may be needed I think ;)

Malta is a rather interesting place, I picked it for the history, as it has some spectacular buildings, and the fact most everyone speaks English.

It was a bit unusual as a choice of holiday destination, I just listed a bunch of countries off wikipedia and crossed out each one till I was only left with Malta. Fortunately living in dear old rainy England it is actually very reasonable... even though I did book a 4* waterfront hotel... oh well, gotta treat yourself now and again.

Thanks for the interest, especially if you managed to read through my rambling post to get here

Loved, loved the wrap up pics story. You're such a great story teller!

Thanks Amy. I'm glad you liked the pictures.

i see, good comparision...she is def. a part of the greatest hits.

She is indeed!

If you write one, make sure you advertise or at least PM, so we know to follow you.

That is a major benefit!

That's a nice treat! I'm sure it'll be wonderful.

I did!

I think I like this new Squidgy!!! Not only is your screen name super fun, but you are well traveled, and quite witty! Welcome!!

Hi Booty!

It's funny that you ask that question. The other day I was thinking that the 18th was the one year anniversary and so I thought that I'd need to get the last post up before the weekend. I looked earlier today and saw that the trip began on the 12th. Whoops. :guilty:

But wait, what's the correct anniversary -- the start of the trip or the end? I might be able to make it before the one year anniversary of the end!

Oh definitely the end!

I second that point

Why thank you very much! This is a very welcoming forum :goodvibes

With regards to the name, I gave myself it when I joined as I was *ahem* a little on the Squidgy side. I lost about 84lbs, but thought that "NotSoSquidgyness" doesn't have the same ring. And after all, I am still a little squidgy at heart! :)

Ciders huh? I didn't realize that.

Indeed! We stock Irish, English and Continental ciders to name a few. As well as numerous other adult beverages, such as Whiskey. I am looking forward to trying one or two American brews in 2013, however. (In moderation of course.)

Oh, and you can drink at age 18 in the United Kingdom. Didn't want anyone thinking I was a miscreant. At least in that department :littleangel:

Always drink in moderation... Except at family gatherings with annoying cousins.

Ah, the infamous English Rose... we meet at last. I am afraid your efforts to stress your innocence are rather futile, for I have heard tales of the raucous goings on which you have inspired.

Thankyou for the welcome, and the warning! Indeed, I have read of the banter and backtalk which pervades the world of such miscreants as Glennbo and FauntelroyFAN. I can assure you that I will mostly behave impeccably during my stay on these forums. :littleangel:

I look forwards to many more opportunities for extremely silly discussions! To paraphrase a great mind of our time, "More pics please!"

You folks have been busy on here lately! Sorry I've been absent for a day or so -- James and I went to our first Arena Football game last night and saw the Philadelphia Soul lose a close game to the Tulsa Talons.

I think I like this new Squidgy!!! Not only is your screen name super fun, but you are well traveled, and quite witty! Welcome!!

I second that point :flower3:

I agree! Squidgy is a great new addition to the group. :dance3:

Oh definitely the end!

That's a relief. However, now with a deadline of only a few hours, it's not looking good. I think we're going to have a family movie night tonight popcorn:: so that elusive last chapter might have to wait.

Why thank you very much! This is a very welcoming forum :goodvibes

That's one of the best compliments yet! 'Thank you' everyone for helping to make Squidgy feel so welcome. :grouphug:

I wasn't up on my England-English slang, so I had no idea what it meant -- but I liked the sound of it! I looked at the urban dictionary today and one good definition is along the lines of "huggable". :) Another is "to be squishy and wet at the same time, usually causing slight discomfort."....which sounds like a Moist/Exhausting Disney trip to me!

Congrats on your weight loss!

I'm sure no one was thinking that.

More Pics Please! :worship:

I'm all out of Disney pics, but I can see if there's anything from this past Spring that's post-worthy.

Ah, the infamous English Rose... we meet at last. I am afraid your efforts to stress your innocence are rather futile, for I have heard tales of the raucous goings on which you have inspired.

Rosie, your reputation precedes you! :rotfl:

Wait a second, maybe I don't understand the meaning of that "miscreant" word. :lmao:

Well, we are miscreants. :teeth:
