Just told the DH he is a light-weight and could never hang with John. He kicked back on the couch to take a quick nap before leaving for work, but then realized he only had five minutes. He then said, "Man, not enough time."

I got way behind!! All caught up now! Enjoying the Crystal Palace update since we are going there in May! I can't believe how some people behave in public! I get embarrassed when little things happen....that woman would have mortified me if I had been in her party!!

I'm definitely adding "Mickey sprinkles" to my list of things I want to buy while in Disney.

I forgot to look to see if you have a ticker before I posted. But, I'll be headed back to Disney in May and would be more than happy to look for the measuring spoons if you'd like. I bought a red, white and black set for my daughter last trip and I think they also had the white with blue ones as well.

If you would be ok with doing that, that would be amazing!!! Thank you so much for the offer! We don't have a trip scheduled, so it will probably be awhile until I'd be near my favorite merchandise!

I'm most interested in the black, white, and red set (with the little Mickey parts on each spoon).

Hi, Lisa its been awhile since i've posted here. My household is getting over some kind of virus/bug thing thats been going around and it put us all out of commission for awhile. The Doctor said there was nothing to do but "let it run it's course" and it finally has. The pics of the castle are really good, very clear. I have some hopefully exciting news, we may get to go to WDW this year after all. My Mom is looking into taking us for Christmas this year as our presents Its only in the thought process right now but we are hoping

I do not know how John can take a little 5 minute nap and feel refreshed. Heck, he can close his eyes for just a few seconds and still feel better.

I honestly can't say how long it was after we sat down on the porch/patio/veranda of the Crystal Palace before our buzzer went off but I don't remember it being overwhelmingly long. We were shown to our table where we found Mickey confetti waiting for us!

We sat for, maybe, five minutes before our server arrived. We were right next to the window looking out at the castle but our view was blocked by all of the people sitting on the benches. That would have been fine because a few minutes ago, I was of those view blocking people but, the people waiting on the benches outside were looking directly at us. I'm serious, they were looking into the restaurant and right at us. It was a bit weird/unnerving. At one point, a guy came and stood near our window and he was wearing the strangest pair of pants....they were made of a clingy, skin tight fabric and they were black and white checked. Let's just say that they left nothing to the imagination. I couldn't help but take a picture of the pants but I can't find it right now. If I ever do, I'll post it.

Our server came and asked if we had ever been to Crystal Palace before, took our drink order and told us that the characters wouldn't be around to our table for a little while so it would be a good time to go ahead and visit the buffet. But, not before I took a picture of Mama and John. Ummm, Mama, you aren't looking at the camera:

We really enjoy eating at the Crystal Palace because it gives us an opportunity to try different food items that we normally wouldn't try if we were at a non-buffet restaurant. A few pictures of our plates:

As we were eating, Tigger came around to our table for a visit:

There was a group of Brazilian teenage girls sitting a few tables away from us and they were a bunch of loud, obnoxious little............fartheads! And I am being nice! As soon as Tigger left our table, he started making his rounds and some of the girls jumped up and, literally, pulled Tigger away from the next table. The castmember who was with Tigger was trying to get them to wait but they kept pulling him and acting as if they didn't understand English. They weren't fooling the castmember though and she started speaking Spanish and they sheepishly walked away.

When Tigger finally made it to their table, they went nutso again. They were screaming (in English I might add) and putting their arms and even their legs around Tigger. It was ridiculous! I'm all for meeting the characters, acting silly while at Disney (remember, we are the family who choked each other), etc. but this was over-the-top. I noticed that another castmember walked out from the back and stood "guard" nearby. Once, when they got really loud and started tossing rolls at each other, he came over and said something to one of the adults in the group. Yes, there were adults who never said anything to the teenagers. That particular castmember never left the vicinity of the group the entire time we were there and the group quieted down....a little.

I don't know how I missed taking pictures of our desserts. I sure thought I had taken at least one or two. Our server brought out a birthday card signed by the characters and a cupcake for Hunter:

We tried not to linger too long over our meal because we could see that there were still quite a few people waiting outside to be seated. I took one last picture before leaving the restaurant:

Awww...I love Winnie the Pooh and his friends! Piglet is the only one we have not yet had a chance to meet. We may have to hit CP in order to do that. The food looks so good!

HA...the black pants...too funny!! You crack me up because I can see us trying to take a picture of the black pants too! We tried once to get a picture of a waitress at Applebee's who was wearing one of those "bump-its" in her hair. She really looked ridiculous! You should have seen us trying to be discrete while taking a picture with our cell phones! Seriously....you and I may be trouble if we ever do get to meet face to face!

Nice Pants

I feel wierded out when people stare at me while I'm eating. I hate it when I'm seated close to the front of a busy resturant and the people waiting can see me. I feel like they are thinking "hurry up, I'm hungry too"

We love the CP too. I was a good morning when we went there!

looks like a wonderful dinner! and wonderful time! such a shame the girls did not know how to behave; I'm all for having fun and being silly but not at the expense of the people around...HOW RUDE!
great picture of Hunter and Pooh! I can't wait for Ashton to meet with them; both years we were able to wave to the characters but I never wanted to wait out their lines...in the hot sun! I felt so bad for the guys in those costumes!
